Hair Type Straight Hair
I have shoulder-length, fine yet thick, wavy hair that tends to be dry and can get frizzy depending on the weather. My hair is easily weighed down by hair products. I used this Nexxus product in place of my usual leave-in treatment. After towel-drying, I divided my hair into three sections and applied one pump to each. The texture is creamy but slightly runny—not watery. It seemed to absorb quickly into the hair. I'm picky and sensitive to fragrance, but I did not find this scent to be bothersome. I received this product recently and have been trying it out. My first thought was the smell and feel of it were amazing. I then added it to my dry clean hair and it definitely smoothed my hair giving it a shiny silky look to it. It even left my hands feeling extremely soft. After using it for a little over a week on clean hair, styled hair and even dirty hair before the shower and I have noticed quite a difference. I have also used it in my daughter's hair, she has very different hair than I do, and it still was a success. Amazing product I would love to see and try more products from this line! Nice Overnight Treatment
I tried this product on damp and wet hair, but I didn't love the results because I need products with a lot of slip to detangle my curly hair. However, I saw the instructions say that you can use this on dry hair as well, so I began putting it in my dry hair at night before brushing and braiding my hair for protection while I sleep. When I wake up, my hair feels so soft and looks shiny and healthy. I prefer it over using an oil overnight because I see the benefits of using this product without any leftover residue on my hair. I like the scent, although I will say that it's VERY strong. If you're sensitive to scents, I'd see if there are samples or a trial size you can try first. The texture is thin, and it dries very quickly after putting on dry hair. I have extremely thick, medium length hair, and I use about 4-6 pumps for my whole head of hair.
