it's not bad!
normally with a gripping primer you would want it to become really tacky before you apply anything on top of it. i'm not sure if it's a problem with me (not waiting long enough, etc.), or if it's just the product is formulated. however, i do like how refreshing and hydrating the primer feels on the skin. i feel like my makeup always comes out good when i use the primer.

Definitely an excellent product, and you can't beat the price. I wanted to try the Milk Hydrogrip but I happened across this and it's the best primer I've ever had. I put it on myself and an entire bridal party that had to face all kinds of situations and temperatures. Wore it from 9a to well past midnight, not a single smudge. Through dancing and weather, sun, etc, held on perfectly.

I was hesitant at first after seeing a review about this primer causing someone to break out, as I am very acne-prone, but after using it for a couple of weeks, so far it's been great! I use the Lily Lolo loose mineral powder foundation (which I would absolutely love if Ulta would start carrying as there's little to nothing with truly clean ingredients in stores). This primer is a really nice gel consistency and slightly tacky, but not too much to where my powder foundation won't apply smoothly. It's very hydrating and dewy looking which makes my base makeup look really natural. I tend to get dry patches and my foundation starts breaking up and/or flaking off in spots due to my acne treatment later in the day, but I haven't had much at all since I started using this. It really does help my makeup last all day on my combination/acne-prone skin. On top of that, you really can't beat the price either! I definitely will be repurchasing!!
