Not as basic as I thought
I wanted this to be a good basic black headband, but it's velvet and fluffy making it a more conspicuous statement piece. If that's what you want, this is a great choice. It's sturdy and it doesn't hurt my head at all. It really is cute but it overwhelms my short hair. I now use it to hold back my hair to wash my face because it's really effective at that. It doesn't slip around.

I mainly purchased this headband for the removal of makeup. I like the simplicity of this headband and the description was what sold me in buying it. It does cause a bit of discomfort so I cannot fully state that it is free in the pain-point areas.
