Would not buy again
Do not like this formula at all. It leaves your skin matte looking but it feels as if you had left over oil on your skin. This sunscreen always pills too with my other products, it burns my eyes, and it has that annoying strong sunscreen smell.
I love it
I love that it has no white cast and love the matte formula. Perfect for me.
Testing This for My Combination/Oily Skin
This is a first-impression review and I plan to update it after I've had more time to test the product. I have combination/oily skin and normally use Anua's moisturizing sunscreen, which I've enjoyed. I decided to try the Invisible Matte Finish Sunscreen SPF 50 to see how its matte and blurring finish performs on my oilier areas while still remaining comfortable on the rest of my face. I don't normally want to wear a full face of makeup, so I plan to use this as my primary SPF and pair it with my Beauty of Joseon Tinted Mineral Dayscreen SPF 30 when I want a little tint and a more even-looking complexion. I'll update my review once I can properly judge the finish, shine control, comfort, white cast, pilling, and how well it layers with my tinted sunscreen.
Perfect Reapplication Over Makeup
This is the easiest formula I've found for effective reapplication of sunscreen over a face of makeup. As long as I don't rub it in too enthusiastically, it will lay nicely over my foundation and concealer. It applies clear, but I do have a light skin tone. I particularly love the blurring matte finish and hugh SPF rating.
An Honest and Balanced Review
So, I have been on the hunt for a sunscreen I will put on regularly that is comfortable to wear. I decided to try this one and see how it went. Well, I LOVE the mattifying ability of the spf but it does not dry! It will not absorb into the skin, I've experimented with trying different amounts and applying in layers. It tends to slide around the skin all day. The texture is strange, but other than that, I just wish it would absorb. No sensitivity, no burns with it thus far. So, if you don't mind your sunscreen just sitting on your skin, I would go for it. Murad makes an incredible mattifying sunscreen..lacks that weird texture and absorbs very nicely. Still on the spf hunt lol..
