Key Ingredients
- ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
- Avobenzone: UVA absorber
- Octinoxate: UVB absorber
- Petrolatum: FDA-approved skin protectant. Highly effective moisturizing agent; forms a protective barrier that prevents water loss and helps repair chapped, damaged skin.
- INACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
- Shea Butter and Avocado Oil: Natural emollients which provide superior moisturization and conditioning.
- Vitamin E: Known as an antioxidant superstar, this vitamin works to protect cells against free-radical damage.
- Green Tea: A potent antioxidant with soothing properties.
Apply generously and evenly to lips whenever they feel dry or chapped. Use 30 minutes before going out in the sun to protect against damaging UVA and UVB rays, windburn, and excessive cold. Reapply frequently after swimming or towel drying. Women can apply under lipstick for extra moisture.

I am sensitive to tastes and scents, and get migraines from unnatural ingredients that are consumed. Is there one that comes without flavor or scent? How long does the lip balm last on the skin. Does it sink in or sit on top?

- Official Answer By Jack BlackHi there, Thanks for asking! We do not have an Intense Therapy Lip Balm without any flavor whatsoever, but Shea Butter & Vitamin E is the closest. The lip balm sits on top of the skin for a bit but does sink in. If it's not sinking in after about 10 minutes, we'd recommend a lighter application of the product. Love this shea butter and vitamin e lip balm. I always wear it before any outdoor activity. I don't get any sunscreen taste in my mouth, the scent is very minimal and pleasant. It feels very slippy and is long-lasting. My new favorite SPF lip balm.
Amazing Lip Balm that Just Happens to be Great SPF
If you're looking for an SPF lip balm that does not smell, taste, or feel like an SPF lip balm, this is the one you want!! The mint & shea butter has the perfect mint flavor, I wear Burt's Bees peppermint lip balm daily and the Jack Black lip balm mint is an almost identical mint. It's an amazing sunscreen lip balm and kept my very pale Midwestern lips moisturized and protected in both the Arizona and Florida sun. It's so comfortable, moisturizing, and wears so beautifully on your lips that I find myself reaching for it all year round. Highly recommend!
