The instructions say to go under a dryer for 15 minutes. Do you use a hair dryer at home?

- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertHi Shelly! That is a great question. Intense RX is a reparative keratin serum that you leave in the hair. Over time it helps to make the hair healthier and stronger from the inside out. For at home use, simply apply this product first so it can penetrate in to the cuticle and then continue to style your hair as you always do. I would recommend using Infusion Keratin Replenisher on top of Intense RX and then blow drying you hair for a smooth and silky result. It is not necessary to place your hair under heat. I was very excited to receive this product, I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and it has done absolutely nothing for my hair. Very disappointed since it was expensive. Certainly would not buy again!

This product is great for extending the life of a professional Keratin treatment. I use it every other week, alternating between a deep conditioner on the other weeks. I shampoo, put it on towel dried hair, comb through with a fine tooth comb, put a shower cap on and apply a little heat. After it cools, I clip my hair and dry on high heat in sections. I then flat iron on high heat. I was able to go almost 5 months between Keratin treatments the last time, and I think this regime helped, along with not washing as frequently, using sulfate free products, etc.

I never write reviews, but I'm writing this one because I want to make sure this product never gets discontinued! I don't understand why there aren't more awesome reviews on this product, but it may be because people get turned-off by the price and don't try it. They should because a little goes a long way! A bottle lasts at least 4-6 months for me and I use this product every time I blow-out my hair -- I just need about a nickel size amt. on my shoulder length hair, which I apply mainly on the ends and comb out with a very fine tooth comb to make sure it covers every strand. I used to do Keratin treatments, but they left my hair too flat/no body for the first 1-2 months. With this product, I get the same smoothing/no frizziness and quick dry time, but I still have all the body and I can curl my hair! I'm finally able to grow out my hair because it's stopped breaking and my color also doesn't fade! This is a miracle product!!

I've been using the $40 Keratin Complex replenisher for a few years now. While I like that one, it was a hit or miss to not over use and get a little greasy hair. I decided to upgrade and get the Intense Rx. I used a quarter size amount on my slightly below shoulder length hair. My hair is wavy, frizzy, poofy. I let my hair air dry 90%, blow dry, then flat iron. The results amazed me. Not greasy at all and the smoothest my hair has been on day one. Today is day two and my hair flat irons beautifully with little effort. This stuff is expensive, but a little goes a long way and it's worth it to fit the frizz in Houston humidity.
