Try it three times before you quit.
I am someone who has to try a shampoo literally three times before I call it quits or not. The reason being is that the shampoo, upon its first performance, is not representative of how it will be upon second or third performance. The first time I used this, I strongly disliked it. I thought my ha...

Poor substitute for So Long Damage
I bought this to try, because So Long Damage was discontinued. I was so sad to find that out. As soon as I opened the bottle I knew I'd need to return it!! I couldn't even use it, because the scent was so horrible and strong that I could taste soap in my mouth!! I had the same issue with Biolage pro...

Not for my hair :(
Okay, I love the matrix so silver shampoo and have used it for years with highlighted hair. I have a slightly coarse hair texture, and I do dye my hair on a refular basis every 12 weeks. This shampoo makes my hair feel awful, like straw actually. I have had to flat iron more than usual due to this shampoo totally frizzing out my hair. If it rains, forget any amount of product helping mybhair after using this shampoo. Frizz city. My daughter has also been using this shampoo. She has the opposite hair texture as mine, naturally blonde and fine but thick. It makes her hair very oily. Ugh… just highly disappointed.
Drying
Dryed my hair a ton. Will go back to the mega sleek.
Love this product!

I have used So Long Damage for a very long time and with it being discontinued tried this. It is horrible. My hair smells and feels horrible. It is just not the quality I am used too. Really sad that I will have to find a different manufacturer for my hair care products.

I have been using Matrix So Silver shampoo for 20+ years. Have loved it, getting so many compliments from strangers about how beautiful my hair is ... even asked if they could touch it. My hair is thick, turned gray after chemo, my stylist recommended Matrix, and I love it. But the last couple months my hair is turning yellow with a purple tint. Would love to know why. I'm tempted to quit using but I still get compliments on my hair, even with the rainbow effect.
