Most Helpful Positive Review All the things I look for in a liner.
The Infallible Flash Cat Eye Waterproof Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner is a really good quality, drug store eyeliner that makes applying liquid liner much easier. I have used many drug store eyeliners in the past and this has got to be one of my top favorite liners to date. Not so much for the gimmicky stencil, but because the formula of this liner is just really good.
This eyeliner comes equipped with a removable stencil that is supposed to make applying liner much easier for the makeup challenged user. The stencil is made from a really thin plastic, which bends very easily, so be extremely gentle with it. You simply place the stencil to the eye, at your preferred angle and fill in with the eyeliner pen. Then you lift and remove the stencil, et viola! a perfect cat eye! I found that it took me a few tries to get down the mechanics of the stencil, so the first few tries were a hot mess. I eventually got it down and it really was easy to use. I, personally, have no issues with doing cat eye liner free handed so I found the stencil to be useless. I can see the appeal in it for users who don't have a steady hand or just have issues with doing their eyeliner.... it definitely would make it easier for these types of users. It just wasn't for me.
The formula of this liner is amazing! The brush tip makes applying a breeze. The liquid is very pigmented, which I LOVE a BLACK black liner. One swipe is all you need! The formula is waterproof, but not overly so that I find myself having to scrub my eyes to get it off. In fact, quite the opposite. It's the easiest eyeliner to clean up. If i've made a mistake, I simply let it sit for a few seconds then wipe and it comes right off without any hassle. Once set, there's no smudging, running, smearing, or bleeding of any kind.
Overall this product has all the great qualities I look for in a liner without any of the drawbacks I find in many. This is one of, if not THE best, drugstore eyeliners I've found to date.
Most Helpful Critical Review I despise this eyeliner.
I have used loreals "infallible super slim" black eyeliner pen for years but when Ulta was out of it I figured I'd try this just to give it a shot.
Let me tell you how awful this liner is. It's got a pneumonic shaker in it (so it is pressurized to push out the liner, sounds great in theory) and it absolutely sucks. It delivers liner unevenly.
On top of that, this is tattoo grade. It is EXREMELY DIFFICULT to remove. At the end of the day a makeup removing wipe, Clinique makeup cream, and Vaseline still left residue of this worlds worst eyeliner. I am saying that using all of those methods still left me with chunks of makeup. On the plus side, if I was out on Friday and didn't take my makeup off, the next day my eyeliner was still there.
But here's where I'm extremely irritated. After using this permanent marker of a pen for about a month, the shaker device suddenly failed while I was applying my eyeliner. Ink flooded from the pen into my eye, and because it takes so long to remove from skin, I was an hour late to work. Luckily I was wearing contacts, so my contact took the brunt of the ink flow but this is absolutely unacceptable.
Do not buy this!!
Reviewed by 1351 customers Felt tip always gets messed up

At first this eye liner allows you to make fine lines or rich thick lines But after a while the tip starts to get messed up and I bought this two separate times and the same thing happened. The tip becomes undone and I think it's so unfortunate because the formula is long wearing and very matte which I like

This eyeliner is very good it is long lasting
Price is good

So, first of all, I actually really like this liner. The brush is great, and the formula itself sits really well. The only thing is, is it's *not* waterproof. My eyes are pretty watery from seasonal allergies, and I have to be careful not to put this on spots that will get runoff from my eyes, or it bleeds everywhere.
Love this eyeliner, BUT
Sunni from Houston
This is the best eyeliner I've used in a long time; it doesn't smudge and after some practice, I've gotten great at the winged look. However, as other reviews have mentioned, after a few weeks of use, all of a sudden a large amount of the liquid will start to come out (right under the brush, there's a little hole) during use, getting in my lashes and on my fingers. So frustrating when this happens. If they would fix this packaging flaw, this product would be the best eyeliner on the marker. That being said, I love it so much that I keep buying it and just replace it once it starts coming out.

Great product! Love the built in guide!!
Waste of my money, horrible eye liner
Lily from Virginia Beach, Virginia
I looked at the reviews for this and a lot of ppl said this was rlly good and I went to my local RiteAid and bought this in brown. When I first tried it out, it was pretty good but after 3 days of using it (a total of 3 times, once each day) it started to get dry. After a week of having and using it, it was rlly dry and I had to layer it for it to show up. When I tried to layer it, it removed what was there and was balling up. Then the tip started to bend and break. The only thing a like about this is the stencil bc it's actually rlly helpful for me. I was rlly hoping that this would be a good liner for me but sadly I was wrong, I guess I'll have to continue searching for a good liner. Save your money on this, sadly I have wanted my money on this. I would recommend you save your money on this rather then wasting it on this like me.
So far so good
L Hunt from 71653
I've used it once and it worked very well for me BUT I don't recommend using the stencil on the side if you like a thinner wing. Others have said it hasn't lasted a month but I guess I find out soon
Confused why so many good reviews
Rose from Newport
I put on just to try it out, I haven't applied liquid eyeliner in forever. It didn't last two hours on my face and I was just sitting on the couch. I got up to go the bathroom and it was gone. The wing had faded almost completely and the line was barely even there
great liquid eyeliner
A from Croatia
+ easy to apply
+ does not smudge
+ intense shade of black
+ suitable for watery and sensitive eyes
+ I don't cry very often - but when I'm out and it rains, never smudged on my eyelids :-D
+ plastic drawing attachment useful only for beginners, otherwise it just confuses and you certainly can't get that sharp end that looks nice (I can't actually put this claim here 100 % because for some people it might be useful, who knows) - to me it's great for precise application of eyeshadow along the edges, so it has some purpose but don't expect miracles
Compared to Too Faced Better than sex liquid eyeliner, Maybelline pen eyeliners (tried them all), Rimmel liquid eyeliners, Benefit eyeliners etc. - this is the best one so far. I think it's suitable for sensitive eyes since I experienced very bad reactions - usually with drugstore brands and felt that "burning" sensation on my eyelids when I applied some cheaper eyeliners just to try them out. This one is a safe bet in my opinion. ;-)

literally my favourite eyeliner
It actually does work

I can't do the cat eye look on my right eye without Messing it up but this product actually helped! Worked really well
LTMNSD from Minneapolis, MN
I am a KVD & Stila user and thought I'd try to find a different cost-conscious option. It was great the first few applications, but then, I somehow bent the bristles. I didn't know that could happen with eyeliner, but it did. It is a bristle brush applicator. Then, it stopped working altogether after than less than a month of use.
Urmi from Philadelphia, PA
Best eyeliner I have ever used so far. Comfortable and looks good. Easy to apply. Safe Ingredients! No Carmine and no Parabens.
Evi from Oregon
I don't understand all the bad reviews. I've been using eyeliner for YEARS. I've tried way too many eyeliners, and this is the only drugstore eyeliner that has stayed on ALL DAY, even after my 10 hour shifts. It dries quick and matte which is great to me and even with watery eyes it does not come off. If you know what you're doing when you wear makeup, I recommend this.
Perfect Cat Eye!
Spice girl from Rochester NY
This liner glides on perfectly with a thin marker/brush style tip. The stencil is so great, before I would try to do the cat eye flick free hand or use the handle of a spoon. Of course this is much better and I'm so glad I found this product at Ulta.
Too messy... product dropped out the bottom of the felt
CrimsonClover from Oregon
Maybe it was just my particular product, but the eyeliner was constantly dewing up at the bottom of the felt tip. Very messy!
Love love love

This liquid pen eyeliner is by far the best, it last all day and does not smudge.
Would buy again if it didn't dry out so fast
Taylor from United States
Was the best and easiest eyeliner I've used until about my third use and it was dry and inconsistent, I'm really bummed it dried out so fast because it was very precise and easy to use. But doesn't help when I can't use it for more than a week
Good for small eyes
Becky from Kentucky
I have small, very hooded eyes with barely any eyelid to work with. This makes a small enough line that it looks better than most liquid I've tried.
I would not buy this product
Natalie from IL
Hardest eyeliner I've ever used. It was very inconsistent, dry at one point then too much coming out at once.
I would not buy this product again

Stayed put even after a meltdown
bub12345 from Chicago
I was very skeptical about trying this at first but I gave it a shot and I'm very impressed! It's very pigmented and the color does NOT fade at all throughout the day! I had a crying session from school stress and i did not have black tear streaks down my face! It stays put the entire day. I took away 1 star bc the brush makes it a bit hard to control
Leslie from Birmingham, AL
This is really great eyeliner. I read the previous reviews and was worried about it being dried out or breaking but I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and it's great. It stays on as good as Lancome's Artliner and costs less than half.
great and bad
britbit101 from Pittsburgh
I wish I could give this 5 stars. I've bought this eyeliner 6 times now and here's the thing, it's FANTASTIC, however, 2 of the 6 I've used would end up after a month or so doing a weird thing where it dispensed globs of leaking eyeliner. I keep buying it though because when it works it's hands down the best liner I've used personally and I've tried prestige brands. to me, it's worth it because of the price.
Worst eyeliner! Didn't even apply properly! Barely any ink.
