Very Pretty and Effective Primer
**purchased with my own money** I purchased this product with my own money from Ulta. I am a licensed Esti as well as freelance makeup artist, so I have used a good amount of products in my 20+ year career. For reference, I have drier skin with pores in my t-zone that are more visible than anywher...

Not for my mature skin type
I did not find this product to be moisturizing for my mature skin. In fact I found it excentuated even the smallest lines. I plan on returning.

Expensive, But Unfortunately Amazing
This primer is absolutely wonderful. I've used it successfully with both radiant and matte foundations, and my makeup does not cake, separate, or slide off. I use several foundations because I can never make a clear decision and have been testing many to find "the one." LOL. So far, I've used this primer with MAC Studio Radiance, Prada Reveal, Dior Forever Glow, Dior Forever Skin Perfect Stick, Makeup Forever, and Haus Labs. Let me tell you — it has improved the performance of every single one. I am almost 50, so I have smile lines developing, and when I use this moisturizing primer, they are hardly noticeable. I hate that I love it this much because the price is high, but some items are just worth the sacrifice. I hope they NEVER stop making this. For what it's worth, I also love the pressed powder in Tan. Thanks!
Expensive, smells good, a smooth facial canvas
I wasn't expecting to like this because every face primer leaves me feeling either sticky, has talc in it or no results / not worth it. I received a free sample in an Ulta beauty box for spending $65, a month ago. I put it in my makeup table without knowing the cost of it or even trying it out. I tried it out this week and it WOWED me. Immediately, my skin looked smoother (around my lips, chin, forehead ... and ... not placed under my eyes, but above my blush area on my cheekbone.) My age is 3 months shy of being 70 years old and small lines were starting to show around these areas. Also, I like it for what's NOT in it - no parabens, phthalates, talc and NO mineral oil, which I avoid these ingredients in any beauty product. Also, an hour later a slight, fresh smell wafted up to my nose. I'm ordering a full size (which is almost too small, close to 1 ounce) and will be using it gingerly; with delicate care not to waste any of it. PS: I like the applicator wand.
Expensive but very good
This is expensive which is why I am knocking off a star. I have had issues with my foundation pilling and this was recommended to me by the sales lady at Ulta. My is dry and I do find this moisturizing. If you are super dry, may not want to only rely on this. It plays well under other makeup and I have had no issues with my foundation or skin tint on top. I just wish the price was not so high. If you have a primer you already like, probably not necessary.
Not what I expected.
The product seemed great in the store in my hand. However, when used with makeup in my face, it separated the makeup and felt cakey.
