Had high hopes!
Just received it. I hate the smell and cant wash it off! Maybe im just not a rose girlie. Not to mention , its giving me a terrible headache with one spray on my arm! For background i like gucci flora magnolia, black opium.
Smells Amazing NOT old lady like
I purchased this when it was 50% off as a blind buy, and I was really nervous because some reviews said it smells like an old lady perfume. When I initially opened it and first sprayed it on my skin, I would have agreed. I immediately put it back in the box intending to return it after one spray because I thought it did smell strongly like something your grandma might wear. As someone in my early 30s, I'm not trying to smell like my grandma lol.. but the dry down is AMAAAAAZING! I keep smelling my wrist, and this perfume actually smells SO. GOOD. Floral notes but warm and sweet. I do smell the vanilla but not in a super gourmand vanilla way. It balances really nicely with the rose and orchid notes. I wouldn't say it's a heavy rose fragrance either, it's there but not in an overpowering way. (I do have the Snif Rose Era perfume so I'm not against rose fragrances, but it's definitely more toned down in this Lancome perfume, so if you're not a big rose fan I'd say it's still safe to try this one). If you like sweet, warm fragrances with light floral notes I'd definitely recommend this. I can't speak to longevity yet, but a little goes a long way and it's such a nice fragrance - sexy and luxurious! I'll definitely repurchase!
Not the same as the gift sample I received
The fragrance I received is not what I ordered and very different and undesirable from the gift sample I received and liken. I will be returning to the store for a refund.
Not for me
After wearing for 15 minutes it did not smell as sweet or floral as it originally did on the tester in the store. I ended up returning this bottle.
