Most Helpful Positive Review Amazing! First of all, I'll agree with others that this is definitely not a mist for over makeup. I'd recommend putting this on a cotton pad and then running it over your face before starting your makeup routine. This is absolutely amazing regardless of the misnomer. It keeps my face hydrated, all day. I have very dry skin that causes puffiness (inflammation) and makes me look sick and old. This took away my puffy face nearly instantly. The ingredients in this are amazing with some of the most powerful antioxidants on earth as well as very powerful humectants. White tea prevents collagen breakdown, pomegranate can increase collagen production, N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG), a more stable form of glucosamine, reduces the amount of melanin in skin cells, meaning less excess pigment in the skin to cause age spots, Sophora Japonica, an extract from the white flowers of the Japanese pagoda tree, visibly improves skin texture and elasticity, alpha lipoic acid is one of best antioxidants on earth that helps the body recycle other antioxidants like vitamin c, which is also in this as Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate. It's a more stable and bioavailable form of Vitamin C. Best of all, it's sealed with an air tight foil top, and you'll have to tear this open to use it and the bottle is in a dark, light stable bottle. Yeah....just get this.
Most Helpful Critical Review This is not a mist This is one of the first products I purchased from Mad Hippie along with some of the serums, I really wanted to love this but as some of the other reviews mention, this stuff comes out like a foamy jet stream. So if you're expecting a light misting spray to coat your full face, stay away. I have had to resort to spraying it in my palm and then applying it with my fingers (which is what you're supposed to do, and what's listed on their website - Ulta's description does not mention this). It's foamy, tacky consistency also has such a strong scent but thankfully, it's short-lived. I've not noticed any improvements in my skin tone, texture or complexion or better absorption of my other beauty products I put on after this 'mist' dries.
I don't plan on re-purchasing and if I still had the recipet and wasn't past the return window I'd probably be returning it.

I had to to spray it on my hands and pat it on my face. The spray comes out too thick. I honestly didn't notice it helping my face but it does seem to help the redness on my arms. It smells good. I do enjoy putting it on. Won't buy again though.
It Works but the bottle is not the best 5
CC from The Big Apple
I have seen a dramatic change in the texture and tone of my skin since using this so I will continue to use it. The bottle sprays out in big bursts so I recommend spraying onto your hand and patting into your skin.
Loveeeee 5

Been using this mist for years and will never change 😌 this mist will forever be in my skincare routine
No go 1
Tansy from MASSACHUSETTS
Good luck with this one if you have sensitive eyes - it burns mine. Also, it sprays from the bottle like a super-soaker, so I poured it into a tried and true face mist bottle and it was no better. Must be the consistency of the formula that causes it to come out in large droplets instead of a fine mist. Not crazy about the smell either. It's not perfumey, just unpleasant to my nose. Too late to return so there goes $20.
Hydrating, but sticky too 2
CrNessata from Louisiana
I love Mad Hippie, but this is bad. The smell is loud and atrocious. It's quite sticky It's also in a plastic bottle, which Im sure they'll recycle for you, but I was expecting it to be glass for ingredient integrity. Not what I expected at all.
My favorite nutrient mist 5

Been using this mist for two years now and I love it!! My skin has greatly improved and it's also helped enhanced my glow. My skin is combo and it works well for me. Will always continue to use :)
Herbaceous scent 4
ExtraSpicy from Virginia
I think there may be a smidge too much essential oil in this because it smells a little strong, but I don't hate the scent. The ingredients look ok so I will put this in a different bottle and try again.
I haven't used it much because it's like getting blasted in the face with a water cannon.

I really like this hydrating mist. I'm so glad I finally purchased it. I spray it into my hands and pat my face. It's amazing how my skin looks after I apply it. Smooth, bright, and hydrated. Thank you, Mad Hippie. Keep up the good work.
Hydrating Mist 5

Magic in a bottle. I usually do two spritzes into my hand and pat it on my face. I'm amazed at the instant brightening and hydrating of my skin. I love this mist. Thank you Mad Hippie.
Tacky and stinky 1

I like every other Mad Hippie product I've tried. This is the strange exception. It leaves a sticky film on skin and it smells sickly sweet. I couldn't get used to it. I returned it. Disappointed.
The greatest & loveliest smelling mist around! 5

This was the first Mad Hippie Product I ever used years ago and it is the one that introduced me to the brand. It will always have a special place in my heart. My skin appreciates the full distribution of hydration and nourishment. It's light yet penetrating. I also love the floral scent. It doesn't linger too long, just a pleasant little bit of aromatherapy. The best mist I've used, and I've tried many.
Maybe the wrong product? 1
Tracy from Undisclosed
I applied when my face was slightly damp and it formed a soapy thick lather. I think the wrong product might have been bottled? It is thick feeling on my face and I have to wash it off. It's not a light mist.
Felt Nice on Face, But That's All 3
Mermaid from Sacramento
It's okay. Didn't notice any improvement or worsening of my face. Smells nice and the mist is refreshing. But that's about it.
Great product, not so great smell 3
Cathy from Long Island
I have had no problem with the mist (apparently they changed the nozzle). I use it on my chest and it feels refreshing and hydrating, My skin looks more even now. However, there is a VERY strong scent to this. It smells like lilies with maybe a little hyacinth. I personally can't stand the smell of lilies. If you do you'll love this. The good news is the smell doesn't linger at all. I haven't decided whether I will buy this again.

I use this hydrating nutrient mist every day and it literally changed the game for me. This mist is amazing if used correctly, which I see a lot of people aren't doing by their complaints.
I wash my face (with Mad Hippie's cream cleanser. which I LOVE) I spray about 4 or 5 squirts of this mist into my hand and then massage/pat it onto my skin, then I apply Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum mixed with two drops of Mad Hippies Antioxidant facial oil.... (i mix them in my palm then gently massage onto my face.... I follow with a jade roller from my freezer.... then I moisturize 15+ minutes after.
All of Mad Hippie products work together, I had cystic acne/hormonal and using their skincare has helped my skin dramatically.. with a well balanced diet of course. stay away from the high fructose corn syrup/bad sugars... that alone wrecked my skin.
The past two weeks I started using the Vitamin C serum at night time in place of the Vitamin A..., and I found it to work more efficiently with my skin due to the fact that i can see the difference in the morning. My texture on my cheeks looks more even, my all around skin tone isn't blotchy. I am no longer waking up with under the skin cystic bumps. I have not gotten one of those in months!!!!
I am not saying that this mist will cure your skin care problems but used in line with other Mad Hippie products, it will make a difference. This mist is like a primer for your serum, sets the canvas for it, and allows the serum to bind to it. It makes all the difference! Before this mist, I was just using plain water to dampen my face before applying my serum. This mist raises the bar. It makes me sad and upset that some people doubted this.
Odor 1
Bam from Seattle
My partner has been using many Mad Hippie products and likes everything, appreciates their ethos,
Its a good company. And everything she's tried has basically fit in with our long shared perfume/scent kinda free lifestyle, until this hydrating spray. To me this smells bad,, a very strong sickly sweet odor that lingers. I think it must be a situation where some can smell it and others can't. It's really gross. I'd highly recommend checking with those close to you if you're using or gonna try this one
Where has this been all my life? 5
Amanda from Undisclosed
I want to start this off by saying that I never write reviews...mostly because I'm never wowed by any product enough. But I just received my hydrating mist in the mail and I opened it up to try it out before bed and I also received 10 other samples of mad hippie products. I was pleasantly surprised and after trying out the cream cleanser, eye cream, toner, and night cream I was RAVING about these products to my boyfriend about how my skin has never felt this moisturized. Literally, I could not stop touching my face. Please buy this or any of their products!! I'm literally in love
Sticky 2
Kayla from Undisclosed
Comes on thick and sticky.. feels almost soapy and has a slight under smell like windex? Also not a fan of the use of plastic. This should be in a glass bottle also!
I would buy this product again. 5
mimi from IL
I use it before Vitamin C and then use the moisturizer daily.
Strange consistency and feeling 1
Kelsey from Boise, Idaho
This product foams up like soap on my skin and dried tacky. I wanted to love it but it is very odd. The spray is heavy - it isn't a mist for your face, it is actually a heavy spray that you shoot into your hands first and rub in to the skin. I won't repurchase.

I did a whole skincare line with this brand for 8 weeks and it broke out my skin. My skin looked so bad my husband even noticed and mentioned something. I know its not my diet. I have done a elimination diet and eat Plant Based and very clean. I May come to like this mist but, I am waiting for my breakouts and wrecked skin to heal first before I give it another shot. I switched to Pacifica and overnight my skin looks much healthier and glowing. All my Acne from this line should clear up by this weekend.
Would buy again 4
Emily from United states
Kind of a lot of fragrance, but my sensitive and dry skin has never reacted badly. I use this after i cleanse before i put on hylaronic acid. I'm going to try some other sprays but i would go back to this eventually.
the product I never knew I needed 5
Kim from Undisclosed
Oily skin my entire life, most moisturizers leave me a grease slick. Discovered Mad Hippie about a year ago and it has been game changing. Ordered the hydrating mist on a whim. This stuff is amazing and the product I never knew I needed. I use it in the morning after my shower before my Vitamin C serum and eye cream and it is a refreshing pick me up. My favorite product even though the Vitamin C serum does more for my face. Highly recommend
Safe for Sensitive Skin! 5
Kann from St. Petersburg, FL
I AM IN LOVE!
I'm 32 yo f, and for the last few years my skin has been becoming more and more sensitive. Rosacea and small irritation bumps on my lower cheeks. I've tried so many different products, searching for something that will both hydrate my skin and not leave me looking like an oil spill. Products easily clog my pores and I will get small pimples. I live in FL, where humidity is a near constant factor.
I started with eliminated all my skin care products, just trying to find 1 thing, anything, that my skin can tolerate.
THIS IS IT!
It hydrates, makes my skin SO SOFT, and i love that I don't have to touch my face to apply.
I use it morning noon and night. I use it under makeup and over makeup. I use it before moisturizing,
and if I feel the need I'll use it during they mid day as a little hydration spritz. I am so grateful for a clean product that actually works! This is a genuine post, I am just so happy I found this product that I wanted to share my experience!
Powerful 5

Balancing after cleansing. Lovely fruity floral scent. All natural and non toxic ingredients. Doesn't sting or irritate. Doesn't break me out. Smooth and even skin. This is perfect!
