Not sure how to feel
I love about face so so much! But I was hoping for more with this product, I want to be able to use the sides separately but the powder side is tough to apply across the lids nicely. Technicolor blue is stunning but patchy
I bought technicolor for the blue crayon color. It's beautiful swatched on the back of my hand but goes on patchy on my lid. If you want more color it doesn't layer/buildup well and just sticks together. It looks like bald spots across my lid from certain angles. The color base just isn't consistent. Once swiped on the lid, you have a few seconds before it sets & you can't really blend it out. Great staying power but patchy.
All I get are compliments
People have LOVED this shimmer. I use it for a highlighter in the corners of my eyes and people eat it up, as do I. Love love loveeee these.
Some colors have different color payoff.
Purchased Technicolor Vision and liked it, went back and purchased Pluto. Pluto's crayon is not very pigmented, and the sponge applicator does not pick up much powder. I think both are not very pigmented and the staying power is mediocre. I like Technicolor a lot better but it is not as bright as the swatches online. I think the more neutral colors will be okay in terms of color payoff but the darker ones lack pigment.
Pay for 2 sides, only get one.
I gave this a 2 star because I purchased 2 and love the pencil side of the product. HOWEVER, the other side with the spongy applicator does not pick up any product from the tube making it unusable. I have to use a makeup brush to access it. Don't waste your $$.
Beautiful colors!
I really like the design of these Holosticks with the spongy applicator side and the crayon side. The range of colors are so pretty too! If you're looking for a more subtle holographic look, these are a great choice!
