I really wanted to love this and haven't given up on it quite yet. I wish I had more time but my review is due. I am a seasoned skincare junkie and have always loved Perricone. I only added this one new product to my regimen (I did not discontinue anything else), and within a few days had some peeli...ng and slight burning/irritation around my nose. I pulled back to once daily at night which helped, but within 2 weeks I had some under the skin bumps develop on my forehead & right cheek. I was surprised as I am not typically reactive or sensitive, and I rarely get breakouts. These were not pimples, but some other type of bumps that were the same color as my skin (no redness). After I discontinued it they were gone within a few days. I do use many actives and did not change anything, only added this, so I wonder if I ended up using too much niacinamide? I was using another serum that also had niacinamide (I have used 2 different niacinamide products simultaneously before without issue). I'm giving this points for being Perricone (because I trust them so much), and possibly user error on my part for mixing too many actives. I loved the texture and appreciated the pleasant smell without added fragrance. I also appreciate it doesn't ball up or pill, plus enjoyed its silky and moisturizing texture. I will give it a rest but will try again soon, eliminating my other niacinamide serum to see if that makes a difference and if the rash was just a fluke or comes back. I am going to recommend this serum despite my reaction which I believe to be an isolated incident based on dozens of other stellar reviews I've read on this product and Perricone's clinical results which I believe are trustworthy. I also believe the power-packed combo of niacinamide, DMAE & ceramides are perfect for those new to serums who have texture issues.
