This did not seem any better than that of other polish lines, and not as good as some of them. I have used Dermelect's base coat and been much happier with that product.

Good but Not Great
I used this by itself since I just took off my acrylic nails. My natural nails were left super brittle, weak, splitting, and just super unhealthy. I got this topcoat to try out and I feel like it has really thickened my nails. By the end of my second day using the product, I feel like my nails are twice as thick, and are not longer brittle. The damage to my nails isn't even visible anymore, so I feel like this product really does what I wanted it to do, which was to repair my poor nails. My biggest complaint about this product is that doesn't last very long. I had it on for maybe 5-6 hours and it started to peel off. I ended up peeling it off on my own and reapplying it. So overall, I would apply it, wait til it started to peel, take it off, and do a new coat. I feel like it worked best for me that way and now my nails are stronger and healthier.

I am confused about the negative comments about this product, and I am sorry that the product hasn't worked for everyone. My experience is extremely positive as my nails are much stronger since I've started using this as a base coat and top coat. I wouldn't hesitate trying this product if your nails are soft and splitting.
