I was so excited to get this blow dryer, but after receiving it, I was immediately disappointed. 1st off its very heavy, 2nd the heat is very high even on the lowest setting,and when applying the cool burst its so cool it hardly drys. I bought this a few weeks back and have been quite happy with it. It is lightweight enough for my use -- I don't get an achy arm when trying to hold it far enough from my head. I like the number of speed and heat controls, too. Now that I'm growing my hair out, I need a better hair dryer and this one fits the bill. And not that it matters, really, but it was fun picking out a color I liked. The blue is quite pleasing.

Not Meant for Curly Hair
I shopped around, read reviews and finally decided to take the plunge and asked for it for Christmas. I'm so disappointed with this dryer. I got the diffuser and put it on the end, but the low setting blows like a medium. It's way too strong and causes fly-a-ways. It's just too strong. I feel a low setting should be a little less powerful. Otherwise, it's a great dryer if you just want to add volume. I don't recommend this if you're looking for a dryer to shape your curls. However, like I said, if you have straight hair, this is perfect for you. As for me, I'll be returning it.
