After blow-drying my hair, I applied the JOICO Heat Hero Glossing Thermal Protector before using a curling iron. I prefer a heat protectant that is applied to wet hair. I've used this product for several weeks instead of my usual heat protectant and I can definitely see a difference in the glossiness of my hair after use. I straighten my hair some every single day so between that and the hair dryer I have to be really careful not to dry out my hair follicles. This does a great job protecting against the heat and when used at the end leaves a beautiful shine to the hair
