As a finishing spray: This products glossing effect is the best I've ever experienced. I have fine thin hair and it gives me a beautiful shine and isn't heavy or too much for my hair. It's absolute perfection. As a thermal protector: This does a fine job as a thermal protector overall. Happy with the look and level of protection it provides. The only thing that I wish was a change in their function is that product is really a thermal protectant for heat styling not blowouts as you need to use it on dry hair rather than wet. I personally use a blowout brush so I need thermal protection for wet hair for that. However when I lm styling from dry this is a great option for my flat ironing and curling. Additional items worth noting: The packaging is a nice slim line can, I have soke dexterity issues in my hands and this product is easy for me to hold and use which is great. I personally love the sent of the hair salon and the scent of this product gives professional salon snell vibes but without any chemical smells underneath, it's a super pleasant scent. Overall, from my experience using this, it does live up to its name and it's one of my new hair heroes!

I started with a clean dry head of hair, sectioned it off and lightly misted the section. I used my flat iron until over each section and to my surprise there was no slightly burnt hair smell. I've got fairly curly hair so I need a higher heat to achieve silky smooth hair and that was the other surprise… it was so shiny and pretty. BzzAgent sent me a full size product of Joico's Heat Hero in return for an honest review. I was so pleased with it that I've used it each time I flat iron or curl my hair. I will be purchasing more because this product is fantastic!

I have been using this for a while and I like it a lot. I think it does protect from heat because when I use my flat iron the hair looks straight yes but also kind dead I don't know how to describe it but once I started using this it looks shiny and smooth like there is no damage when I iron it. The other thing that I liked is that my hair lasts straight longer that it did without using this product.

How I use this product is on dry hair. I part my hair into 4 sections. I spray the Heat Hero Gloss Protector on my hair from root to ends. Then use my flat iron. This product is amazing. I never heard of this product. This product holds heat on your hair up to 450 with any heat tool. Helps with split ends. It helps a lot with shine. My hair looked great. I have kinky fine hair. So my hair looked very nice and didn't have to worried about my hair being burned from a heat tool. My hair had a shine to it which I liked. I like that my hair is protected from pollution. That is great to know due to my city having pollution in the air from chemical plants. I recommend this product to any consumer.
