After blow-drying my hair, I applied the JOICO Heat Hero Glossing Thermal Protector before using a curling iron. I prefer a heat protectant that is applied to wet hair. It doesn't make sense to put heat on your hair with a blow dryer and then apply a heat protector. That said, I would have been open...

The Joico Heat Hero Glossing Thermal Protector is good at protecting my hair when I use my flat iron or blow dryer. It smells pretty good but a little chemically. It leaves a nice shine to my hair that isn't greasy. I don't know if it's necessarily worth the hefty price tag but I like using it.
It made my hair look shiney and healthy!

I've used this product for several weeks instead of my usual heat protectant and I can definitely see a difference in the glossiness of my hair after use. I straighten my hair some every single day so between that and the hair dryer I have to be really careful not to dry out my hair follicles. This does a great job protecting against the heat and when used at the end leaves a beautiful shine to the hair
