Prime the sprayer by holding the bottle upright and pump the sprayer 5 times to ensure delivery of full spray. Do not inhale mist. Apply 1mL with spray (6 sprays) 2 times a day directly onto the scalp in the hair loss area. Using more or more often will not improve results. Continued use is necessary to increase and keep your hair regrowth or hair loss will begin again.

We want to point out that Nioxin shampoos are NOT sulfate-free. The Keranique range of products was developed to be sulfate free so that the products were ultra gentle and nourishing to the scalp, the source of hair growth. Sulfates have been shown to cause the scalp to become dry and can also promote irritation of the scalp, something that isn't beneficial if you are experiencing hair loss. According to Medical News Today "sulfates may strip away too much moisture, leaving the hair dry and unhealthy". My mom has had thin hair on the sides of her head for years and iv always tried finding ways to help like researching oils like castor oil. In the beginning of the year I used black seed oil and she had a terrible reaction to it and her head swelled up and as a result she now has thin hair all over her scalp and I feel terrible because it is my fault that her entire hair is thin, not just the sides anymore. Will this product 1- thicken her hair and 2- make it actually grow back. Most importantly has this product given anybody a bad reaction because I don't want to go threw the same thing again.

Will this work the same if I just use this spray or will I see faster results if I use the spray, shampoo, and conditioner? I do have thin hair. I do put highlights in my hair to help minimize the oil and to help give it volume. I don't wash my hair but maybe 2 times a week if that. I'm noticing crown baldness, both sides of my temples.

When you are experiencing hair loss, its not that a whole, healthy hair is being shed and not replaced in the follicle. Typically what occurs is that the follicle miniaturizes or shrinks over successive hair growth cycles and so not only are some follicles not producing hair, but some of the follicles that are still producing hair, are producing finer and finer hair fiber. Those thinner fibers are very fragile, they are not as strong as your hair at its normal diameter, or thickness, and so the hair is very susceptible to damage and additional loss due to breakage. The shampoo and conditioner were developed to nourish the scalp (the source of healthy hair) and to strengthen, protect and fortify your hair. The shampoo and conditioner work differently then the hair regrowth treatment and when used together are a comprehensive, whole approach to thinning hair.Was this answer helpful to you

I had radiation treatment for brain cancer years ago, and my hair on that side is still really thin. I'm in my 30s and now post menopausal (most likely from chemo). I don't expect hair to regrow on my scar from surgery, but after surgery and prior to radiation, I had full and thick hair. I miss it. Will this help?

I don't think your hair is thinning because of the way you have parted it, but rather, I suspect the way you were parting it may have camouflaged the thinning area. I use a color hair powder to cover the thinning/bald spots on top of my head. I put it on after I've shampooed and conditioned with Keranique products. My question is, since I wash my hair once a day In the morning, and then powder my hair bald spots for the day, do I have to put on the required 2nd treatment of the hair regrowth treatment as directed in the evening? I dont like to wash my hair twice a day as its already dry and fragile. What are your thoughts if hair is only washed every other day? Is it ok to use the Minoxidil once a day?

I originally bought the sampler set of Keranique and for me the shampoo, conditioner and styling spray were just okay, however this spray for regrowth actually works. After parting my hair in the same spot for many years, my hairline started receding in a little triangle area there. I have been using this spray on that spot for about 6 weeks and I have new hair coming in! So, I ordered another bottle. It has no stickiness or texture or scent, so it's easy to use.
A must for Thinning Hair
I have always had thin hair. Menopause didn't help that. This product saved it. I defiantly see results. So much so that I just bought my second 2 pack. I no longer have to make sure my bangs are a certain way, or that I'm not directly in the sunlight

I started using this after not being able to find the nioxin one I've been using. I'm on my second box now. It does what it's supposed to! My hair loss is from a combination of hormonal & nutritional issues; but it has helped stop the fallout and i have a lot of new baby hair/growth. It does take a lot of time to work ( I've been using minoxidil products about 5 months now?) and you have to keep using it; but that makes sense becuase it takes time for hair to, you know, grow! There's no strong scent which is nice but the spray applicator is a miss for me. I strongly prefer dropper applicators and usually end up using more than the sprays it says to get the coverage I need. It also makes my hair a bit oily looking but dry shampoo easily helps.
