The Kitsch Gold Open Shape Claw Clip is the perfect simple and elegant way to show off the natural beauty of your hair.
Rated 4.68 out of 5 stars
Very sturdy, with thicker metal than I was expecting. It holds hair pretty snugly because the teeth interlock closer than a lot of other clips.I bought this feeling certain that it would not hold all my hair - but no clips, even much wider, more circular ones, do either. The slimness of the claw area made me think that I would just be able to pull half my hair back away from my face, which I thought would still be worth it because of the metal construction and it being much less likely that the teeth would ever break or the body would ever crack. However, as it turns out, if I make a top knot I can strategically position the clip so that it holds all my hair in place high up on my head (clipping in front of the knot). And it actually stays. I've cleaned the house with it up like that, gone on walks, even napped, and it has stayed in position better than if I put it up with rubber bands/hair bows. It gets looser over hours but has not fallen out like my other clips, ever. If you bought 2 (of these full-sized ones, not the minis) and clipped them on either side of a bun or top knot it would probably be even more secure, but as 1 is serving me fine I'm not in a rush to buy another one just yet, though I do recommend these. For reference I have thick, wavy hair that comes to about 3 inches above my elbows. And just 1 works for all my hair.I love that it came in gold and not just silver.I love that it's sturdy metal. I think the price is fully justified. This is not the cheapest clip you can buy but it is completely worth it for me.I was worried that some reviews said it was so heavy it falls out of hair but again, the teeth interlock so that it fits really snugly and securely in hair so that has not been a problem. I imagine if you had very, very thin/fine hair it might be, but then you could probably just buy the minis which would be lighter and better for holding small amounts of hair.
This clip doesn't seem to be suited for my hair type. My hair is medium-long and fine but I have a lot of hair so I've never had issues with a clip holding it before. The clip does not grasp tightly and if I wear the clip too high on my head, all my hair slips out the bottom. But since clip is not very big, if I clip it lower on my head my hair flops over awkwardly because it is too long. It also doesn't work clipped half back. It worked well when I clipped it up in a bun. So I think this clip is probably best for people with a little shorter or thicker hair than me. But it is pretty! I will also echo another reviewer that said it's nice that it lies flat against the head so it doesn't start hurting after a while.

I have long, think hair so I didn't have much hope for this clip but it works SO well! Definitely way past my expectations for it!

So I have super thick, past my shoulder hair. And I've had this clip for months now and feel like it's the best one to hold my hair. The material is solid and not cheap (compare to plastic ones).

Sturdy metal clip. Only clip that has worked in my thick wavy hair. I have had this for a year now, and it still holds tight.

This is one of the best designed hair clips I've ever seen. I thought I would be excited that the material wasn't plastic and wouldn't break, but in line with other reviews, the weight of the clip is very heavy and it slides down your head.

I was looking for something to stop hair damage, like a silk pillow case or something. But I found this instead. I don't like the feeling of having my hair down but hair ties and scrunchies always pull too hard on one tiny section and I have to fix it. This clip was perfect. It's heavy and strong and the perfect size to gather up all my hair in a French twist that's tucked in nicely.

I've never had any luck with hair clips until now. This clip holds my hair without issues. It's stronger and made better then plastic clips. Love it.

My new favorite clip! Holds my hair up, no pulling EVER, and looks chic at the same time. Thinking of buying another one just in case

My order got lost and they immediately shipped another and I love everything! Such a great experience

It is a pretty clip, but that is pointless when ot is too heavy and slides out of my hair no matter what I do with it.

Cute hair clip that I use daily. Stylish design allows for clip to be used when dressing up too. I have thinner hair and clip is still effective holding up my hair all day, no additional pins or product needed.

These are like the microfiber towel I wrap my hair up in, but scrunchies. I was hoping my hair would magically dry into frizz free beachy waves but alas it just dried into its normal mane of crazy. If you have more manageable hair I could see these being great for getting it to dry faster than just air drying.

The 10 year old has long hair and she tried this out. She found a way to wrap her hair around it and then went about her evening. It definitely looked a lot better than having a towel on her head. As a matter of fact, if done properly, it you can put this on your hair and head out the door. It dried her hair (ponytail part) quickly. The reason I gave this four stars is because it will never work for people with short hair and it is really not useful for drying the entire head of hair. I think it would work great for people leaving the gym or like I said, when your hair is wet and you need to leave the house and want your shirt to stay dry. It works but uses/functionality is limited.

I have thick hair that is long-ish.(few inches past my shoulders) For the past couple of years, I've been experiencing thinning of my hair around my scalp (age related) and some hair loss due to stress. Because my hair isn't in the best health right now, I've stopped using curling irons and hair dryers. I bathe at night, shortly before I go to bed. Since I"ve stopped using a hair dryer, many nights I go to bed with wet/damp hair. I no longer have to do that thanks to Kitsch Ultra Soft Microfiber Hair Scrunchies! Kitsch scrunchies work GREAT in my hair! After I wash my hair, I just wrap a Kitsch scrunchie around it , do my nightly rituals and go to bed. I always wear my hair up when I go to bed so I just keep the Kitsch in my hair while I sleep. My hair is nice and dry by the time I go to bed and the Kitsch is soft enough to keep in my hair and sleep in until morning. I have no issues with tangled hair after sleeping with a Kitsch in my hair and I'm able to remove it without any issues. I've also had no issues with the Kitsch scrunchie losing its shape or becoming stretched out. I washed the Kitsch once in the washing machine and let it air dry without issue. 2 scrunchies come in the pack. I use one and the other, I'm planning on keeping for summer when I spend a lot of time at the pool. This such a great product. I had no clue that anything like this existed! l also never heard of the Kitsch company until now and have already picked out a bunch of hair ties that i'm interested in. And the prices are incredibly reasonable! FYI...for those interested, the packaging for these scrunchies is nice. I'm not going to post a photo since the packaging looks exactly like the photo on this page. The bag the scrunchies come in is a nice, thicker plastic bag with a zipper to open/close.

I received 6 Microfiber hair scrunchies. The scrunchies help hair to dry quickly, removing water from hair. The material is soft. Overall a super cool ideal. I like them.
These ultra soft drying scrunchies are AWESOME. I usually wash my hair at night and tend to go to bed with wet hair. Yes you are right if you assume my hair is a mess in the morning, but nothing a pony tail can't fix. This scrunchie is super soft as they say and super absorbent. This however is the solution to all my problems and then some. What I now do instead, I use this scrunchie to to put my hair in a little bun. Then I basically go to sleep and leave it on all night. It is so soft that it doesn't bother me. It loosens some but stays on for the most part for the entire night. The next morning some of my hair is maybe slightly damp but for the most part it is dry. I then make sure to dry the scrunchie by hanging it up in a well ventilated spot. My hair however will be fully dry by the time I leave home. Instead of having a frizzy mess my hair is now straight and looks fantastic. I absolutely LOVE this scrunchie. It makes my hair look fantastic in the morning and gently dries it up. For reference, I have long brown hair to about the middle of my back. My hair is one the finer side. If I brush it to the front it will reach to my breasts. If I put my hair in a bun this works very well. This is an incredible find and I was not able to find any like this.

This is an interesting concept: These large scrunchies made of microfiber absorb water after a shower. They did cut down on my drying time by about 5 mins. They are very soft, but I wouldn't exactly call them lightweight. Quite nice, esp for someone who wants to save some precious minutes in the morning.

These are so great helps dry my hair ( I like to air dry). It doesn't get soaked. Bigger than I expected and holds a lot of hair. After I washed my hair I wrapped one of these around it and I felt less water dripping down my neck and face.

I'm constantly putting my wet hair up in a scrunchie so it does not drip down my back. As a result, I ruin many a scrunchie. These are PERFECT! keeps my hair up AND dries my hair at the same time. These are thick enough/large enough to get around my bun and take care of the ends as well. VERY excited!

Exactly as I expected. Perfect size and grip for my thin hair.

My hair is long and color treated. I try to avoid the added abuse of blow dryers whenever I can. Putting it up in a scrunchie is an obvious solution. However, if you've tried it you know that an regular one keeps your hair wet wherever the tie covers your hair. This is a perfect solution that not only holds my hair into a pony tail or bun, but helps absorb the water so that I can take my hair down sooner and with better results. I hope this will be made in other colors, as well. Recommended!

My daughter has thick hair so it's hard to find things like this that work well, but she's pleased. Thx!

Perfect for out of the shower or when blow drying your hair
