When I apply it on my palm, it looks just like the picture, but when I actually put it on my lips... it's really different... it comes out in a dark and dull color and has a shiny finish like an auntie's lips ㅠ

I've been buying these for years and I absolutely adore the formula! It feels so cusiony on the lips, but not overly so. Kind of like a lip mask. I have very sensitive lips and I can wear these all day while still keeping my lips soft and non-irritated. The formula is buildable, so the intensity is really up to you in most cases. My only complaint is that you can only twist up the product so far, and there's still so much product left in the tube, so much that it's worth either using a spatula or de-potting it to use it longer. I'm also very sad that they brought every color to Ulta except my favorite one, Buffy Coral :( it's confusing why that's the only one excluded, it is literally the prettiest muted color thats a mix of beige and peach that is SO flattering on my muted warm-fair olive skin. I will definitely be sticking to Stylevana for that one, sorry Ulta! 🫶🥰 Overall, it's 100% worth it, but bear in mind that the colors apply deeper irl than in the product photos. I had to look up swatches on Reddit to see what they actually look like IRL

i have a fair, very muted, neutral-leaning-cool complexion and this balm in the shade "veiled rose" is genuinely the most perfect nude/mlbb lip product i've ever used. the color match to my natural lips is spot on. the formula is also very hydrating and it's easy to apply. 10/10 product for me :)
Travels in lip lines...
Nothing special with this lip balm...it travels outside the lips and doesn't even feel very moisturizing at all...hoping I can return this overated product...
My favorite lip product
I love using this lip product. I have the shade hippie berry and it such a beautiful red. It's not a dark red but more of a pinkish red. The product has a good color payoff and has a lip balm texture, which leaves lips on the glowy side. I find that this product isn't drying which I love since my lips tend to become dry easily. I definitely recommend this product to people to purchase!
