- Flip open the brush, and press the universal button to turn the LED light on.
- Press the universal button again to switch between LED light colors.
- Brush hair as normal, from scalp to ends of hair. Then press the universal button for 3 seconds to turn the LED light off.

I purchased this at the end of March by the end of April the arm snapped right off. As others have stated you must download the app in order to use. I was made to enter all my product info. I assumed this was for the warranty. While when it snapped in half with in the month I contacted the company through the app. I was told sorry to bad. So, please save your money. It is of poor quality and the app situation with the company is shady. Unfortunately the company doesn't stand behind the product they produce.

I think this is a really cool product. I got this during 21 dob and honestly it was a great purchase. It really does smooth my hair and the red light is a cool technology to help calm inflammation on my scalp (I deal with some dry scalp and hair loss issues). If im going to brush my hair everyday, might as well treat my scalp as well! For those complaining about the app, please go out and touch grass. You literally have to just use it when you first get the brush then you can easily delete the app. Put in fake info if you're so concerned about them "stealing" your data. Wow.

You MUST download an app to use the product. After signing in to your Apple apps, you must create an account, upload a picture of your receipt (granting camera access), you have to then return a code. The app is set up to steal your information.

have to download an app to use. wish I would have known before purchasing. still took a minute for it to turn on after that. very frustrated, thinking about returning. shouldn't have to go through all of this for a stupid hairbrush. I would not buy any of their products after this.

This is already my fourth Foreo product and like their recent products, you'll need to download their app for initial setup (at least it's not like their UFO, which you actually need to turn on the app every time you use it!). Since I already have a Foreo account, registering this product for warranty and setup took me less than a minute (just screenshot my Ulta email confirmation for the proof). It's my fourth day of using this brush and even after the first use, I'm seeing results. My strands are definitely silky smooth like they have never been before. I use it in replacement for my in-shower scalp brush. I simply turn on the different LED colors to brush in my hair conditioner/mask for about a minute (wish they specify how long I'm supposed to brush my hair!). I also use it again in the morning to brush my dried hair before work. For some reason, this brush does make my hair very shiny and silky. Not sure if it's because of the bristles or because of the LED lights. It detangles my strand easily. As for hair growth due to scalp simulation or whatnot, I have not yet see any results, of course. I hope with longer use I'll have more hair grow thanks to better scalp treatment and circulation.
