I don't normally brush my hair but finger comb it instead. The reason being is that most brushes are too dense and mess up my waves or flatten the hair too much if it's straightened. I came across this brush and had to try it, and so far it's everything I thought it would be. It cleans up the look without ruining it. I can use it on dry or wet hair and it gently glides through hair and leaves it looking natural. If you're looking for something to pull hair into tight ponytails or buns, this isn't it.
I like this brush and I bought it because I have thick, waist length hair that can be difficult to blowdry, so I use a vented brush to help me. I had a different vented brush before but I used it a lot and the bristles had melted down (which is normal for me, I usually have to replace my brushes every 6 months or so). The problem is because of the way it's designed, I'm afraid I'm going to break it when my hair is really snarly. There is no support bar at the top, so when i brush my hair, the strips of bristles bend really hard. I ended up having to use my old brush for actually brushing my hair and using this one for blow drying only once my hair was brushed. This brush is better for people with short or thinner hair because i don't think the bending would be as much of a problem for them.

I have the largest and medium of these brushes. I keep a medium in the shower & in my gym bag. They are so easy to clean! I'm white and have thick, highlighted hair, that can be wavy and is past my bra line. I often put my hair in braids, buns, etc to make it wavy. This "finger"brush dies a beautiful job for me to not completely brush out the curls but get the loose hairs out and keep the "natural" wave. Oh, it's also great for drying hair because of the venting in the brush! Highly recommend for any length.

I have purchased 3 brushes over the years, but NO MORE. They used to be fabulous but have now gone CHEAP! The bristles are thinner, flimsy, so it dangles and pulls my long hair, and the tips fall off. I broke my first brush but have gone back to using because it's so much better than the new ones even though its broken. I looked at them side by side, huge difference, quality going down with each purchase after the first. Tips fell of the 2nd brush, thought I just got a lemon, and the 3rd is horrible, I have only used twice, pulls my hair so bad. I wish I could have tested out in the store because I would not have made the 3rd purchase. My sister purchased as well, she thought they were too expensive, but I said worth every dime BUT NOW told her, DONT BUY OTHER ONE! GONE CHEAP! Would not recommend!

This brush is incredible. From someone who has long, semi thick wavy hair, it doesn't rip out my hair at all. The shape is ergonomically designed to fit your head like a glove, which I believe is one of its greatest features. I really can't say enough about it. Wish I had found this brush years ago!!

Okay this thing is AMAZING!!! I have hair down to my waist and this baby makes it so easy to detangle without pulling. With regular brushes, tons of hair falls out. I barely find any loose hairs with this brush. This also leaves my hair feeling so stinkin smooth. And let me tell you about the scalp tingling! This brush contours so nicely to your scalp and feels so good. It's like one of those scalp massager claw things. Amazing. Anyways, this is the best brush I've ever owned. Do yourself a favor and get one!

The outside"finger" on the brush will always break on me. I thought maybe I got a bad brush, but it did it with my second one too.

Perfectly made with a slight curve to massage along the scalp while brushing through, for a effortless detangle. .Literally the best brush I have ever purchased. .. totally blows away the common wet brush... witch still ripped out hair. Went back for the smaller size as well.. I swear my hair is so much more happier .. even fuller

Took a chance in ordering this. I really like it for looser, casual styles or brushing wet hair. It's not like a typical brush but does the trick for most of my needs.

I bought this brush after my hair colorist used it on me and easily styled my hair. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because after about 3 years, many of the soft ends of the bristles have come off. I ride motorcycle do my hair is often tangles- that probably helps the soft bristle ends pop off.

This brush allows your hair to dry quickly. The hair is also wonderful to use everyday. It makes your scalp feel invigorated!

I have very long thick hair that is unruly at times. The brush broke within the first month. I continued to use it for a couple more months (it's pretty expensive and I felt bad about returning) and it has just continued to break more. Handle is now separating. Unsure if I received a bad one or something but I would say avoid it if your hair is similar.

I have thick hair and tried several brushes and recently came across this brush. No issues with brushing thru tangles, using a lot hairspray / product for that special evening when you need your hair to stay perfect.

olivia garden has some the best brushes out there, they're definitely worth the price. i literally have 7 different brushes of hers (i counted 7 in my head but i might be forgetting 1, so i might even have 8), besides that all the positive reviews speak for themselves. and i've purchased all these brushes within the last year or so, i've never cared to much about brushes until i seen a lot of hair stylists talking about her brushes and once i got my first one which was a round brush of hers i was literally hooked. great brushes!

I have fine but a lot of hair and it tangles so easily. This brush works great and it doesnt put static in my hair, which is why i usually hate brushes. I love the color to;)

Great for color treated hair. Highlights one risks extra damage if not using proper conditioners and tools. This brush, size small, easily combs through my hair in the shower or while blow drying. Made with sturdy material.
Great for wet or dry brushing. Easily removes tangles. Works great, actually massages the scalp too.

4/5 stars total. 5/5 quality. 3/5 price. 3/5 functionality. 5/5 non-damaging. -- This brush is fine, I like it and all, but I think it's a bit overpriced for what you get. I also think it's not as good for straightening your hair as a round brush is. It kind of curves the wrong way for blow drying my hair very effectively, too. It curves towards the scalp, which is great when I'm just brushing my hair or freshening up my hair in the morning on a non-shampoo day. I don't like this brush for blow drying and/or straightening, however. Since the brush curves towards the scalp, you have to hold this brush over the hair. Holding it under the hair to hold the strands out and then put the dryer over it, like one would with a paddle brush or round brush, for example, doesn't really feel very comfortable because of the way the brush curves. So yes, I do like the brush overall. I give it 4 stars. But it's a bit of an expensive brush and touts itself as being great for blowdrying, and on that level I disagree. The ventilation is great, but my hair is too dense at the root, I have a lot of it, and I need to put the brush under sections of hair to dry it. This brush doesn't work out well for that.

I have two at home, one in each bathroom. I went to visit my sister in another city and took one. I used it on her hair and she liked it. I came home, bought another one and sent it too her. She was so happy.
