Almost All Rounded Tips Fell Off the Bristles

Very disappointed that just a few rounded tips that cap the pokey plastic bristles remain so brushing my hair is painful when the brush touches my scalp. The bristles should be one solid piece with a capped top so that this doesn't happen, especially given the cost of this hairbrush.

I bought this brush twice, thinking the first time it broke I was too rough with it. That was not the case. It was terrible quality for the money I spent.
Something changed
Purchased this years ago and lasted a long time. Bought a replacement and the little things at the end of the teeth are falling off less than 6 months later. The old brush didn't have the same issue.
Do not recommend
I did not like this brush its very hard and does not detangle hair easy it made my hair fall .
