Not Worth the Hype
I saw this on social media where it appeared to be a solid monochromatic, highly pigmented almost cream-like, shadow. It was applied with one swipe of the finger. I was duped! Not as Expected
I have fair skin with a cool undertones. This eyeshadow looked some much better on the models. I tried it separately, over a primer, and as a highlight. Nothing looked good. Within an hour the glitter was all over my face. Did not matter if I applied with my fingers or brush. Setting spray helped with the flaking.
Horrible Packaging
I love glitter so I absolutely love Half Magic and most all their products despite them being a bit higher, but this was a complete miss. The packaging is first of all extremely small, even for an eyeshadow single. It is made from the same material as egg cartons are. It was hard to open at first and immediately broke the closure part. Then I set it on the nightstand where a small bit of water was left from a drink and it just deformed right away and was stuck together. Got absolutely no use from the product and is the worst design idea. Just a waste.
great at product, garbage packaging
Lucky I love a good shimmer because I couldn't possibly hate the packaging more 🤣 it's a cheap, thick paper. Not even cardboard, like a soft paper you make in 6th grade art class. If you get ready at the sink do not lay this in water. It's basically a paper straw. BUT the color is stunning. I got the purple duo chrome which is a nice dupe for fembot if you prefer powder shadows over liquid
Hate the Packaging
For the high price point, you would expect a higher quality packaging. I understand wanting to be "earth-friendly" but the packaging feels ultra cheap. Lower the price point to justify the awful cardboard that holds the product. The packaging feels like an egg carton. Make it make sense...please.
Beautiful shimmer single
Love this eyeshadow single! So easy to apply with just a finger. The dual chrome shimmer is so pretty. I get lots of compliments when I wear this. Packaging can be flimsy since it is compostable but it doesn't bother me.
