The lift from this product is great. I have very heavy, thick hair and this gives me the lift I need especially at the crown. I tried a few other root lift products and nothing worked as well.

I've used Paul Mitchell Volumizing Spray since it was introduced. This formula in no way compares to the original Volumizing Spray. This product gives slightly more body when combined with other products. The original formula was a stand-alone product. I would love to see the Original Volumizing Spray re-introduced.

It's okay, but I'm looking for stronger hold

My stylist recommended this to me and I've been using it for almost three years. It's okay but I wish it held better, almost like a mousse does, without the consistency of mousse. I've tried Paul Mitchell's mousse and I didn't like it: It felt gluey and heavy. I have shoulder-length hair and I want something that I can use with a wide round brush that will hold without several sprays of product.
