Is this a mousse? What is the consistency od the actual product? The nozzle makes it look like a mouse, but the name sounds more likea hairspray.

No, this is a liquid. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is this a heat protectant as well ? I have fine bleached hair. Will i need to use another product for heat before using this on my roots and blowdrying?
Asked by Ksjayhawk

This product does not have heat protection. Neuro Prime is a great option for heat protection for the mid-ends of hair. Both products could be applied at the same time if desired. Was this answer helpful to you

Love This Stuff

The lift from this product is great. I have very heavy, thick hair and this gives me the lift I need especially at the crown. I tried a few other root lift products and nothing worked as well.

Not as good as original formula

I've used Paul Mitchell Volumizing Spray since it was introduced. This formula in no way compares to the original Volumizing Spray. This product gives slightly more body when combined with other products. The original formula was a stand-alone product. I would love to see the Original Volumizing Spray re-introduced.

It's okay, but I'm looking for stronger hold

My stylist recommended this to me and I've been using it for almost three years. It's okay but I wish it held better, almost like a mousse does, without the consistency of mousse. I've tried Paul Mitchell's mousse and I didn't like it: It felt gluey and heavy. I have shoulder-length hair and I want something that I can use with a wide round brush that will hold without several sprays of product.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I use this on my scalp after every wash to help style my short hair. It's the only thing that really holds my hair all day long. I've used it for years and I love it. I would definitely recommend it to everybody. It does not leave a film or make the hair sticky or hard, it's still soft to the touch.
