So I'm not a professional but after the pandemic hit, I've been trimming my long hair by myself. Occasionally I will cut curtain bangs or freshen up the layers. I received these shears and they are such a delight. They are sturdy, medium heavy and extremely sharp. I'd recommend keep them away from amateurs - lol. I missed a step the first time and nicked a finger , it is that sharp. But overall, I'm liking that I have a dedicated pair for my hair and it gives a nice clean cut.

I used them to give my son a haircut and boy these are good scissors. They are nice to hold very sharp and really easy to handle them. They just slide and not feel like they are heavy. Really recommend them, will look up more stuff from this brand.

These shears are far superior than others I have used. They are super sharp and easy to hold. I am a novice when it comes to cutting hair. I use them at home to cut my husband's hair and it makes the job so much easier.

I've used Fromm shears before, and this shear did not disappoint. These shears are a basic model, but feel like high quality shears. They are very sharp, easy to tighten, and feel relatively comfortable to hold. I wish the handle was a bit more offset so it would be more comfortable on the wrists. I was also expecting little things to go inside the handle so you can customize the fit. They also help with grip and comfortability as holding on to metal tends to hurt after awhile. Overall, for the price, it's definitely a good deal!

I'm not a professional hair stylist, so I can't compare these to professional shears. I would not be surprised if people who cut hair for a living invest more and get better tools - they should since their livelihood depends on it. I needed something that I could use to trim my own hair swiftly and easily during the pandemic. Hopefully, I will not have the opportunity to see how long these last. For my purposes, they were plenty sharp and comfortable to use, and the price was reasonable. Sharp, affordable. Wife has been cutting my hair during the Covid crisis and the office scissors were not ideal. These have worked beautifully out of the many options. They have no play and are easy to use. Update: 20 haircuts in... They are still sharp with zero play. Good buy. They are somewhat small if you have big hands you might have issues. My wife and I don't so they work just fine for us.
