Since this pencil isn’t mechanical, sharpening is key for the best use. We recommend using the CoverGirl Make-up Masters 3-in-1 Sharpener or a similar sharpener with a smaller hole for precise sharpening. If your sharpener blade feels dull or it’s hard to sharpen, replacing it usually helps. We don’t suggest refrigerating or freezing the pencil, as that can affect its performance. I literally cannot believe all the negative reviews on here all bc people dont know how to sharpen a darn eyeliner pencil?!! Are they serious?? Invest in a GOOD sharpener (made frm german steel frm amazon, cheap) I bought the rich brown color bc black would prob be too harsh. It's the best eyeliner...

This doesn't advance. I'm going to have to throw it away. I'm reading reviews about sharpening. Are you supposed to sharpen the plastic outer part? Doesn't make sense. When try to smudge it, too much wipes off. Disappointed and don't recommend.

I've always used this style of eyeliner because I have reactions to the liquid liners, however, each time I sharpen this pencil it breaks. I then have to keep trying to sharpen it and get sharp pieces of wood that poke my eyes! Fix this please.

I'd give 0 stars...so many reviews with consumer complaints about Exhibitionist 24 hour kohl eyeliner that will not sharpen. Covergirl representative told me to use Covergirl 3-in-1 sharpener like I was the one doing something wrong. The product is obviously defective or at least a batch of it is. So many consumers lost money on this eyeliner. Shame on you Covergirl for not acknowledging you are selling a defective product. Just blame the consumer...perfect.

I have tried many eyeliners from high price to lowest price and this one is the only one I found that stays on…doesn't smudge or stick to the top of my eyelid when I open my eyes. At first I was disappointed that it wouldn't sharpen well until I read a review and the reply was to use Covergirls sharpening tool. I actually got a new sharpener as that one was not available in the store I was at and it worked perfectly. Love this liner…thank you!
