Hold the brush horizontally. Press the inner curved side into the root of the lashes and pull upwards.
Use the outer-curved side and wiggle the bristles from side to side, base to tip, to separate, lift and define.
If desired, use the tip of the wand to coat lower lash line for precise application.

Okay but won't replace all other mascaras.
I liked this, but it's not going to be something I use all the time and dump all other mascaras for. It took a bit of skill to apply it on my lashes and still I struggled. The mascara is thick and unfortunately clogs the bristles a bit on the wand so it is tough to get the wand to separate my lashes...

Sticking to Clinique
I thought I would give this a try since it was on sale. The first coat made my lashes stick straight out. I applied a couple more and just got a gloppy mess. My usual Clinique mascara curls and gives volume from the get go. Definitely didn't see the results anyone else is getting.

Wow, what a great mascara
This actually is good mascara. I am a loyal fan of Lancome Defincils Mascara, as it always adds dramatic length! The Charlotte Tilbury mascara adds volume and length on my already long lashes. What a difference a mascara will make! It gives me more volume and length with two coats. Although you have to go from root to tip in one stroke to avoid any clumping! I would definitely purchase this mascara!
WORTH IT, get it !
I am in love with this mascara. After months of hesitation to buy this, d/t price and availability nearby (not counting online), I convinced myself to get the full size after trying a sample, and fell in love. I figured I was buying the name when I saw the price online, but oh was I wrong. This mascara, is so smooth to apply, and I don't care much for this type bristle applicator, but it HAS NOT failed to deliver-no clumping together of bristles when product is on it, not disfigured by constant in/out of the tube, I also didn't think a curved wand would keep it's shape over time either, but I was wrong-sample product still looked great. Now the mascara itself, is luxurious, and smooth, easy to apply, and actually does what it says; volumizes, spreads, lengthens, curls. Somewhere between tubing, and volumizing and almost a fiber type coating on your lashes. Sounds like a lot going on, but it really is a beautiful end result. Stays on long term too, (I'm talking 12+ hours easy), want to apply another coat to the day you already wore, go for it, still no clumps, and will give you a more enhanced, fuller lash line. I know what you're thinking, crap, stays on this well, it probably is a pain to take off, or damages your lashes..nope, easy to come off with water, makeup towel, or shower, and doesn't leave your lashes feeling brittle.
Charlotte Tilbury has done it again
This mascara is truly amazing to start. I do have long lashes, but for my lashes to go up to my eyebrows, WOW game changer. I've alway used Lancome Definicil and have received so many compliments over the years on my lashes. I was given a trial size of this mascara and wow, I am so amazed… I also love that it comes in a glass bottle, I mean, just don't drop it on a tile bathroom floor. Since using this, I have been asked if I have on false lashes! Nope, just Charlotte Tilbury mascara. No clumping at all! This mascara gives me beautiful separation with unimaginable length! Just go out and get yourself one and try it for yourself. You're welcome!
