Does this remover remove a nail tip or just the polish? I am looking for the polish remover not the tip.

Hello, thanks for submitting a question.😊This remover is acetone based so If you have on regular nail polish NOT Gel Polish, yes this remover will only remove the nail polish and not the tips. If you have on Gel Polish and Gel Tips, you will have to FILE OFF the Gel Polish. To remove Gel Extensions/ Gel Polish with this remover you have to Soak them off for 15/20 minutesWas this answer helpful to you

The "Real" Answer To Removing Your Home-Gel Manicure!

Simply follow the directions! This product performs as titled "Erase". I thought I would have to give up my nice home-gel manicures.....not anymore :-) Absolutely thrilled with this product! I used Erase by saturating a cotton ball & using masking tape. Tape the cotton ball onto the fingernail. The ...

Read the ingredients before you buy!

I bought this item to remove an OPI gel manicure which I got at a nail salon 2-3 weeks ago. When I got home and used it, I followed all the directions, and after buffing, the gel was semi removed. So I soaked the cotton balls with Erase gel polish remover and wrapped with tin foil FOR A SECOND TIME...

I just use regular cured gel polish and this remover took it. I just soaked a cotton ball and left on for 10 minutes. I filed the top coat off first. And this size bottle will last forever!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Removed gel & gel tips!!

This not only removed the gel polish, but to my surprise, I was able to pop off the gel tips I had just put on. I used the foil wraps, poured over some of the eraser liquid, foiled the nails and within 15 min they were off! I experimented on the other hand by reusing the same foils and only leving them on for about 3 min. Guys, they popped off! Just make sure you use something pointy to pick at the edges to get a nice corner to lift.

Yes It works on Gel

I have a feeling user error is in play from all the bad reviews. I do my own gel nails at home, and this product works better and faster than pure acetone. Soak the nails, those are the instructions. Either wrap the nails with cotton soaked with the solution, or place in a small dish and soak. Either way, you must soak the nails. Then the gel polish is easy to shape off.

Didn't work for me

I bought this upon the recommendation of staff. It did not work for me and I was able to return it. I followed the instructions and let the remover sit on the nail and it still wouldn't get the gel off.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
