I don't know if maybe this depends on which color you get? I got the "blush" elastics, and it takes exactly one use to stretch them out. Hair Type Straight Hair
i've got thick, straight hair & lots of it. my hair is very difficult to hold up because it's heavy and healthy/silky, so it slips out of everything. i use these when exercising and they work well for me. they're super smooth and don't pull/break strands, yet strong enough to hold hair properly. i do use a big scrunchie over top though for added support and cuter aesthetic.

These are the best hair ties! This is a goldilocks product- I can use these hair ties for a high pony without it giving me a headache, for a bun, or to secure a braid. Love the material as well. It's soft to the touch, but heavy-duty. I've actually been keeping good track of these. Can't be without them! I was with my mom when I initially bought these, and she's been surprised at how long they've lasted too. Haven't had to repurchase, but definitely would!
