• Remove excess water and ensure your hair is towel dried before use.
• Slide the power button upwards to turn ON your Duet Style. After a few seconds you will hear the fan ramp up as it heats up to the optimal low styling temperature for wet hair. Once the light stops flashing and the product beeps, it is ready to use.
• Divide your hair into 2-inch manageable sections, no larger than the width of the plates.
• Take a section of hair and place Duet Style close to the roots, pausing for 3 seconds.
• Glide down the hair towards the ends in a slow and steady pace. Repeat until dry and move onto the next section of hair, starting once again from the roots.
• Once all your hair is completely dried, for an optional boost of shine, activate Shine Shot by pressing down the Shine Shot button for 4 seconds until you hear a beep (Shine Shot should only be used on dry hair.) The fan will stop and the plate temperature will increase to the optimal ghd styling temperature of 365°F. Once the product beeps and the lights stop flashing, Shine Shot is ready. Your Duet Style can now be used as a regular flat iron.
• If you wish to return from Shine Shot back to wet to style mode, press and hold the Shine Shot button for 2 seconds. Your tool will beep as the plates cool down and the fan will start. The 'ready to use' tone will play when is safe to use on wet hair.
