To cover rosacea and scarring I've used L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte in Shell Beige 102, and Lancome Dual Finish Foundation Powder in 220 Buff II (Cool). They're no longer providing enough coverage. Is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Max Cover Camouflage foundation more opaque than those two and, if so, which shade would be the closest match to the ones I listed. Thank you.

Is this waterproof on its own, and if not, would it be waterproof if I used setting powder? Also would it smudge or transfer? And could I put sunscreen over it?

The coverage is full and there is no need to set this Foundation with a Powder. If you like to apply Powder, a loose formula like Estee Lauder Sheer Flattery Loose Powder, would be best. The Foundation is longwearing but not transfer-resistant. If you want to add additional sunscreen, we recommend applying the sunscreen under the Foundation rather than over it.Was this answer helpful to you

I like this product, it does take a bit of finesse to apply, but the coverage is great and long lasting. I think a makeup sponge may make it easier to apply. Will try that. Definitely need a magnifying mirror to check application, I also used the pressed powder afterwards. I might also try a primer, but overall I really liked the coverage.

This is the absolutely best full coverage foundation I have ever used. And it's the only foundation I ever buy. It covers so good you don't have to use much. I use a makeup sponge to apply mine with. It stays on all day until I get ready for bed. It's weightless feels like I don't have any foundation on.it covers all imperfections.and it is waterproof. I use Estée Lauder's primer and loose powders with it. And I also use Estée Lauder's moisturizer. I love all there products to me there the best!

I absolutely love this foundation, it only takes a little to cover everything i need, i have dry skin and i do use moisturizer and a good moisturizing primer..It doesn't settle into fine lines either, if you use too much yes it can get cakey, less is more with this foundation and the bottle lasts forever because you only need 6 or 7 tiny drops to cover your entire face and neck. I have mature skin, so ladies don't be afraid to try, I almost passed it up but it's amazing foundation ✨️
