Please do not press down on the pump before it is properly secured.
Follow these steps carefully to protect the mechanism:
- Remove the original cap from the bottle.
- Gently but firmly tighten the pump onto the bottle, making sure it is snug.
- Now it is safe to press the pump.
- Note that the pump has a "locked" position for when you're on the go. Be sure to unlock the pump before the first use.
To unlock, twist the top of the pump in the direction of the arrow.
To lock, twist in the opposite direction. You will feel when it settles into the locked position.

I found this pump really convenient to use with my Double Wear foundation. It makes it much easier to control how much product comes out, and it helps avoid wasting foundation. I usually do my makeup in the morning, and using the pump makes the routine quicker and less messy. It dispenses a small, controlled amount which is perfect for buildable coverage. I also like that the pump is reusable for new bottles, which feels less wasteful. Overall, it's a small accessory but very useful if you use Double Wear regularly. I love the pump cap! it's a life saver for the girlies who through there morning routine in their purse for touch ups. It fits tightly and doesn't come off easy. The pump is high quality and doesn't get clogged or pump slow, you can pump can not have to wait for it to go back up.
