Hair Type Straight Hair
i wanted to love this because of all the great reviews but this didn't help my hair at all :( i have long hair thats been chemically straightened so i have to use very moisturizing hair treatments to keep my hair healthy and prevent damage. i've used up the whole bottle even though i didn't like the results (i don't like to be wasteful). every time i left it in my hair for 10 minutes during my showers, my hair was hard and brittle when i went to wash the mask out. it didn't feel soft or nourished at all. it also left lots of tangles in my hair as i would try to wash it out. this led to a fair bit of hair fall because i would have to do a lot of detangling after my hair wash. when my hair dried it still looked dull and dry. my post wash hair care products like my leave in conditioner and hair oil would be the only way to revive my hair so that it didn't look so bad after the wash. i'm so sad this didnt work for me because lots of others seemed to love it. i don't think this is an issue with my hair specifically, as ive used other masks on my chemically treated hair (maui moisture, verb) and didn't have any of the problems i did with the briogeo mask. if you have a similar hair type to me (straight, chemically treated) i would be cautious.
