Most Helpful Positive Review Great brush for foundation Whatever foundation you use, you will make it look even more beautiful with this stippling brush. Stippling really makes pores and imperfections just vanish because instead of just dragging product over a large pore or scar and making them look way more obvious, this brush will push the product into the skin and there's no distinction between flawed areas and your most beautiful skin. I always apply foundation with a brush, I hate those sponge applicators...I honestly don't want to spend half the day "bouncing". When I get to the areas of my face where my large pores and deeper acne scars are more prominent, I stipple and it makes all the difference. :)
Most Helpful Critical Review Ugh... Using this brush was not unlike applying foundation with a shedding cat. Coverage was "meh" and it leaves you with loose hairs all over your face. I thought perhaps there was just an initial surplus of hairs, so I shook it out real good. But even then it still continues to lose hairs. You can just gently tug and pull out large clumps. I love all my other ELF brushes, but you guys seriously need to go back to the drawing board with this one. Not happy.

I was searching for a stippling brush to apply my cream blush, and oh boy! After using this brush I don't need any blush, my cheeks were red. Apparently they used porcupine needles to make this brush....to painful.
Quality and Great Price! 5

I ordered about 10 different brushes and each one is of great quality and the BEST price ever! I love every one of them.
Ouch 2
Nyla from California
This brush works well, but it kinda hurts to apply product to your face. Also has trouble picking product up. Works but honestly could find better. Not mad for the price but overall I'd pass.

Prickly, painful to use. Not soft at all. Foundation looked streaky with it as well. Needs to be discontinued.

wish I had read the comments before purchasing. this item needs to be recall. feels like sharp needles poking your face when applying your makeup which makes it very uncomfortable. will be returning all 4 that I purchased.

Hurts my face 1
guacluvr300 from Atlanta, GA
I've had this for over a year and have periodically tried to incorporate it into my routine. The bristles are much tougher on my face than other ELF brushes, and using this for foundation literally hurts so I tend to save it for cream blushes and bronzers that I don't have to stipple all over my face. Even then, the experience is not enjoyable. Would recommend other ELF face brushes much more highly than this one.
Hurts when using 1
Ashleyrea10 from New York, NY
I bought this brush almost a year ago and I used it twice. I tried using it to apply my foundation and it was stabbing my face and poorly distributed the foundation onto my skin. It left the foundation patchy with uneven coverage. The worse part are the hard, sharp, uneven bristles that stab your face and made my skin turn red and irritated.
Works if you have nothing else 2
nri00 from Texas
If you have nothing else to apply your base with, then this will work on a whim. Otherwise, avoid this brush. It is super prickly and streaks the foundation all over your face. It is also not as dense and I would have liked when it comes to the number of bristles.
blends great 5

i love this brush. it blends out my foundation very evenly and its very soft.
Good brush 4
tara123 from Ontario, Canada
I find this brush more dense than ELF's other stipple brushes but not as soft. I sometimes feels a little picky, not so much that I won't use it. It still applies cream blush beautifully. If the slight roughness may bother you, stick with ELF's other stipple brushes (They are very soft and smooth). I don't find a significant difference in the final look. This one blends out a little quicker because of the density.
Painful, jeez 1

It's feels soft when you touch it, but is superrr prickly on your face. It doesn't blend my foundation at all and leaves streaky lines.

Hate it! 1
erikaj from Houston, TX, United States
I really really do NOT like this brush. I've used it several times trying to give it a chance but ultimately, it's going in the trash. More and more bristles fall out and stick to my face every time I use it. And, if you're not someone who cleans their brushes after every use (which most people are not) the bristles clump together into sharp points and become painful to use around the eyes. If you're thinking about getting this brush, don't.

Bristles are too harsh 1
DigitalRain from Plaquemine, LA, United States
I love e.l.f. brushes, but this one one was horrible. Stippling with this brush hurts, the bristles are too firm. The reviewer before me was correct when she described it as feel like needles when stippling. I'll see if I can find another use for this brush. Disappointed.

Prickly 1
mkvani963 from Toronto, ON, Canada
Bought this and immediately discarded after three uses. This brush looks fluffy but with liquid and powder foundations, it was so prickly. Application was streaky and patchy. Better to get selfie ready powder brush for any foundation application!
