So this detangler looked very promising I have a tentangler that I use but I'm always willing to try new stuff. Two stars because it has good slip
The smell of this product is so terrible that I cannot stand to use it again. Product does have good slip but I can get that in other detangling products that smell way better.

Im a very busy working mom with ALOT of 4B hair. My hair was matted in the back because i usually just throw it in a slick pony or a pinapple. I washed my hair with the shampoo and intensive conditioner and then used this product. Directly on the matts and let it penetrate and a full mat was comb out in less fhan five minutes. What usually takes me 2 hours or only doing half my head has transformed. I love this product so much i will be using it on my daughters curly hair as well! Dont walk RUN!
weird texture
I tried this because it had good reviews but I hated the way it made my hair feel when I put it on. I can't describe the feeling but whenever a product does that to my hair I just know it isn't for me. I returned it the next day.
Works for ALL hair types!
I received a very generous samole of this product in a GWP. I have straight, fine, thick hair, bra strap length hair. I highlight occasionally and blowdry regularly. I have always been one to use hairproducts that are not particularly geared toward my 'type'. I (thankfully) grew up in a very diverse community. I love trying AA owned brands because I love the effort put into the ingredients and scents. This detangler is the best detangler I have used in 15 years. My hair is silky, the texture is gorgeous, my strands flow effortlessly. My hair is not heavy, it looks absolutely beautiful. The scent is light and slightly musky but not strong. I am so grateful that I was able to try this product. I am thinking of trying other Pattern products now.
