I have 3B/3C natural curls. When I style my hair in sections I end up with a mix of huge clumps I have to manually pull apart and stringy curls I have to either run the brush through again or finger style. Great 4 Styling Wavy Hair (no breakage)
I have wavy 2a hair that needs help with clumping and this product was perfect. On top of being an effective detangler, it has been great with styling my hair. I love the customizable element with it's removable bristles. My only issue was shipping because the bristles were damaged. A week later Ulta contacted me and seemed willing to go through with a replacement.
My OG brushes! I have multiples of these.
Last forever and i have multiples of these in both the large and small size. They can be difficult to clean. If you remove the rubber bristles to wash, pay attention to how you replace the rubber onto the handle. One side fits by squeezing. The other side does NOT fit. And it is counterintuitive as to which side is which.
Great for detangling
My first Denman brush lasted for several years before I need a replacement. While in another store I bought a similar one that was cheaper and it did not do detangle well. My curls were just getting wrapped around the end of the bristles so it was time to get the Denman brush and not a knock off. This Denman brush I bought from Ulta detangles my wet or damp hair well but for me the bristles were stiffer and not as comfortable on my scalp. I didn't know if my scalp is more sensitive now or they've made the bristles more durable and therefore stiffer. Other than that it does the job to detangle my curly/kinky natural hair very quickly.

Great brush to detangle. I was second guessing because of the price but I gave it a try. It was great and would buy a mini to keep in my car. I am a big fan now. It's my new favorite brush right now. I am becoming more of a Ulta Beauty fan each day. Thank you!

This brush came recommended to me and I was a little hesitant to spend this much on a new brush, but it has been so worth it. I have slightly wavy and very fine hair, but this product glides smoothly through my hair and helps to detangle easily.
