My Experience with the Conair Curl Defining Brush
Overall Impression & Performance: I recently tried the Conair Curl Defining Brush, and it generally does what it sets out to do: help define curls and reduce frizz. On my 4A hair, when used on damp, product-prepped hair, it helped create more distinct curl clumps and gave a smoother appearance to m...

frizzy roots
For reference: I have afro texture (not the silky kind) curls that run 3B-3C. I had high hopes. I was so excited when it arrived that I sprayed a section of dirty hair just to see it in action. Even without fresh product it defined my curls well in that small section I tried. What I didn't realize ...

Does ok with curl definition, but bounce curl better
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have developed 2b/c curls since starting menopause - where before my hair was extremely straight. Tried this first (cheaper and in stores) but with my fine hair it gave me stringy results. I've tried it for months with different products and same results. Spent the $ for the defining bounce curl, and got better results immediately. This is very much "your mileage may vary" - and I'm keeping it for general wet hair brushing in the shower, just not for curl definition.
Detangles without pulling

Detangled on surface harder to detangle at scalp. But does not pull hair so I feel this would be better for kids. For me I have thick curly long hair and does a good enough job for me
Daughter loves this brush, it's now her favorite
Hair Type Wavy Hair
This is just a great detangling brush. My daughter now uses this everday instead of her wet brush. you can feel the quality and durability of the brush, that it is built to last. makes it easy to separate her hair, and the handle length is actually better than what wet brush has
Love this brush! I would buy it again.
Really good for detangling.
Like the bounce curl brush, but better in every way.
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I think what to consider when picking between this product and the bounce curl brush is 1. The price point: this brush is considerably cheaper and can be bought in stores. 2. This brush has deep ridges on the back, to support the curl clumps all the way through, whereas the bounce brush is flat. 3. This brush can be opened to clean the inside.
