Love Ocoa!
I'm so happy to have found this line! I love it so much so far (just started using it). About my hair: I have wavy/curly hair (mostly 2B-2C wavy with a bit of 3A) that is fine but there's a ton of it. I prefer clean beauty and avoid silicones, phthalates, parabens, etc. I've been using a well-known...

What turned fine. To worse.
For context, I have very high porosity hair. (3a-3b for ref) After using (shampoo & the paired conditioner) this since late December or so, I'ved noticed my hair getting dryer and dryer by my ends, more frizz breaks outs, and a few zits near my scalp. Every wash my hair was getting dryer and made it...

Love Ocoa!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I'm so happy to have found this line! I love it so much so far (just started using it). About my hair: I have wavy/curly hair (mostly 2B-2C wavy with a bit of 3A) that is fine but there's a ton of it. I prefer clean beauty and avoid silicones, phthalates, parabens, etc. I've been using a well-known clean beauty brand for the last several years and while I like it, I don't love it. I was really looking for a change and I'm so happy to have stumbled across this brand! I love everything about these products so far - the light yet natural scent, the clean ingredients, supporting a woman-owned small business, the experience of using the products, the packaging, and the results. My scalp/skin is sensitive to cocamidopropyl betaine/hydroxysultaine and similar surfactants, and these are almost impossible to avoid completely. The fact that this line does not use these surfactants is the cherry on top (they're common allergens but they're in everything so if your scalp is sensitive, maybe try avoiding them and see if that helps you too). I'm using the shampoo, conditioner, cream, and gel and these products together are working great for me!
Amazing conditioner
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I absolutely love this conditioner. The slip this product has is amazing, and I find myself needing to use less product than with other conditioners to get the job done. My hair always feels super soft and hydrated after using it. Since using it, my hair feels healthier!
The slip is UNREAL
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I usually spend 15 min just trying to detangle my hair in the shower, but this conditioner melted any knots away right away. I love that it doenst have silicones so it actually hydrates my hair. my hair looks great, shiny, and I even have more volume. Obsessed

- Q
Does this conditioner help detangle curly hair?
- Asked by BiPal
- Official Answer By OCOA - Brand EngageYes, Our Curl Care Conditioner is designed to help soften and hydrate your curls while providing the slip needed for easier detangling. For the best results, apply it from your mid-lengths to ends, gently work it through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, and let it sit for 2–5 minutes before rinsing. This helps your curls absorb the moisture they need while making detangling much easier and gentler. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can this conditioner be used as a leave-in?
- Asked by SJR
- Official Answer By OCOA - Brand EngageOur Curl Care Conditioner is designed to be rinsed out for the best results. It delivers lightweight hydration to replenish moisture without weighing your curls down. After rinsing, follow with your favorite OCOA styling products, like our Hydrating Curl Cream or Curl Defining Styling Gel, to lock in moisture and enhance curl definition. If your curls are feeling especially dry, you can leave a very small amount on your ends occasionally, but we recommend using it primarily as a rinse-out conditioner. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
What do I do if my hair still feels dry after conditioning?
- Asked by Darlin
- Official Answer By OCOA - Brand EngageIf your hair still feels dry after conditioning, don't worry. Dryness can sometimes be caused by buildup, not using enough conditioner, or hair that simply needs additional moisture. Make sure you're applying conditioner from mid lengths to ends and allowing it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly. If your hair still feels dry, add a small amount of water before adding more conditioner. Water helps activate the conditioner and allows it to spread more easily through your curls. If your curls are especially dry, incorporating a deep conditioning treatment into your routine can also help restore softness and hydration. Was this answer helpful to you
