Pretty but not long lasting

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. These nails are so cute, they are a periwinkle blue and bright white checkered pattern with a gloss coat over the top. I love the length of them as well. Pretty much everyone I encountered during the duration I wore them commented on... how cute they are and were surprised to hear they are press on nails as they look like professionally done acrylics. I previously reviewed another nail from this line and attempted the recommended gel application for longer wear. The gel application was an epic fail and the majority of them fell off within the first few days vs the advertised 2 weeks. I decided to try out this pair using the included glue, to my surprise they held up much longer than the gel attempt. I buffed the inside of the press on, pushed my cuticles back, buffed my own nail, applied dehydrator followed by primer, and applied a small amount of glue to both my actual finger nail and to the press on. I applied at a 45° angle and bended the sides around my natural nail and held my finger down until the glue had dried and then shaped the nails. The nails are good quality and held up through buffing without splitting or cracking like the other ones I previously tried, I'm guessing it had do with the others being see through. These were also very comfortable to wear and very flexible with the exception of me shoving one too far deep into my cuticle, but that was user error and no fault to the product. From start to finish I had nails applied within 10-15 mins. I applied them on Monday afternoon and none of them popped off until yesterday (Thursday), but I did end up losing 5 nails throughout the day. I was doing some heavy duty house cleaning and working on my car so I'm not too surprised they didn't survive. I'm sure they would have lasted longer if I wasn't constantly using my hands and washing them a bunch. Overall I'm impressed, as long as you're not intending to use them for long periods of time. If you have a weekend event you want fancy nails for the occasion then these will work out great.
