This palette is ok for what it is. The colors are very vibrant and beautiful. As far as the formula I didn't care for it much. It has A LOT of fallout so I suggest doing your foundation makeup AFTER using this eyeshadow. Or else you'll be redoing your foundation. I didn't find it very easy to blend ...

I rarely write reviews, but I thought this could help any other Satin Taupe lovers out there… I purchased this palette because it was a great price during the holidays, and I was excited to start playing with more make up again. Satin Taupe is one of my favorite single eyeshadows ever and I've purchased it many times over the years. However, the color in this pallet is not like the single shadow at all. It is a golden, warm brown. I compared a swatch to the single in store to a swatch I took at home from the palette and they are not the same. The quality of the shadows overall is not on par from what I've come to expect from MAC. Unfortunately, I threw away the packaging it came in because I thought I could make it work, but the more I play with the shadows, the more disappointed I am. I'm sorry MAC :( this was a miss for me.

Since I have this pallete, I use it daily, suits day time and evening looks. It has the shade haux, wich is very popular. It has a dark shade for conturing eyes. And shimers to brighten the inner corner or under brown. Flatters green or hazel eyes.
