After using the stick a few times it broke of. I bought a new one and although I was extra careful it still broke off. This is really a pity because I like the concept, the texture and the color. But it's also expensive having to by a knew one very 3 weeks.

I used the eye shadow stick for a couple of days and was liking it a lot. Then the next time I opened it, the crayon had broken off and it was completely unusable. I had not tried sharpening it or done anything to cause it to break. Is it just too soft? Or did I receive a damaged one?

The moonstone color, which I received as a Jane Iredale promotion with purchase, works well as an under the eyebrow highlighter. The rose color, which I purchased on my own (and later returned) turned into a dull and muddy color on my eyelids, I believe that there are better eyeshadow options out there offering more clear, distinct,and flattering colors. I wish that Jane Iredale would bring back many of their selection of single powdered eye shadow colors.

I love these shadow sticks! Firstly, I am incredibly sensitive to eye makeup. With nearly every brand I've ever used, I get a very bad headache within about 30 minutes of application, and some irritate my skin, as well. Not with these! I can layer them on and wear them for hours, and I have zero reactions, and I'm so grateful because I also love how they look, how they feel, and how incredibly easy they are to use! They are so easy to work with. I find it confusing to work with traditional powder shadows and the various brushes needed. These make applying, layering, and experimenting so easy, fast, and fun! If I'm running behind schedule, I just grab Rose, color and blend with my ring finger, and I'm done. When I have more time, it's fun to mix them up. I have every color but one that was out of stock, and I'll pick that up next time I order. I would absolutely love it if Jane Iredale releases more colors in these sticks! I would love a vibrant color edit with matte and shimmer shades in purples, blues, and greens! For reference, I love the color range of Urban Decay, but my eyes are too sensitive for their formulations. I know the pigments for those colors may cause sensitivity for some folks, but I haven't had any issues with those colors in Jane Iredale's powdered shadows, so it would be amazing to have them in these sticks! Thanks!
