The Perfect Blush/Highlighter Duo Product

I was very excited to receive my free sample of the Morphe Cloudlight Soft Glow Diffused Blush in shade 'Fluff' (Soft Pink) thanks to the BzzAgent sampling program. This is my first time receiving and reviewing a product through their program. Off the bat, the packaging is cute and very simplistic. ...I like the blush pink borders of the box, which complement the shade nicely. All the information regarding the product are clearly listed, including its "soft flush" and "blurred...glow". When swatching the product, I noticed the iridescence of the blush more than its soft flush, which later came through when I tested and built up the blush on my cheek. I think I would have to do a full face, or at least some medium coverage, to determine whether the product really does have a blurring effect. What immediately stood out to me, however, is the shine from the infused glittery highlighter, which reminded me of my personal favorite, Rare Beauty's Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter in shade 'Mesmerize'. Although two different products with different purposes, I feel that they're comparable and Morphe's Cloudlight serves as a more affordable alternative. Morphe's product isn't as high in quality, but it makes up with its wow-factor packaging, its stamped blush logo, as well as the swirl of the pinks and gold that comprise the product (truly so fun to play around with and look at). In my current makeup routine, the Morphe Cloudlight blush is like a combination of the Inglot Rosie Cheeks blush in shade 17 and Rare Beauty's highlighter, simplifying my routine. I can tell that even though the packaging is slightly deceiving regarding the blush's size, the product will last me a while nonetheless due to its immediate effect post-application. I think that this product is perfect for light glam and clean girl looks, which is right up my alley, and this bright yet settle pink shade suits me as a pale girl. Overall, great product that only misses the mark when compared to stronger options in a super competitive market. The Cloudlight blush feels the slightest bit chalky for a product that has the intention of keeping your skin looking glowy, but it's a multi-purpose powder (which may be a good thing for some and not so much for others). I highly recommend this product. It's not perfect, but it doesn't have to be. It's definitely best suited for young adults and teenage girls, really anyone who wants to have fun with their makeup, keep things light and shimmery, or simply not wanting to break the bank.
