Unfortunately, I'm someone who consistently suffers with dry, chapped, flaking skin on my lips. With that in mind, I sincerely looked forward to being able to try this peptide infused lip treatment. Its fantastic that this product can be used either as a daytime lip treatment or as an overnight mask. I've been using the product as a daytime lip treatment, it goes on smoothly and has a wonderfully high, pearly shine. It feels very hydrating on my lips and the shine gives a great appearance of plumping my lips and makes them look smoother and softer. I also really appreciate how the applicator works, the tip has a nice curve to it that makes it easy to apply and the tube is easy to squeeze and overall, the packaging is really soft and elegant. I admittedly was a bit hesitate when it came it trying this out of the fear of it being sticky/tacky but that has thankfully not been an issue! I actually really love this treatment. I have been sick so my lips have been extremely cracked and needed some love and this stuff was perfect for them! No burning and it made them feel soft much better. It is hydrating and I love the way it feels on my lips. It does not feel heavy or sticky on your lips and I have used it before going to bed and have not had to worry about my hair getting stuck in it. There is no strong smell/taste, it is very neutral. It loves a nice gloss finish but nothing too dramatic. This stuff has made my lips feel soft and hydrated and I find myself constantly reaching for it. As someone who struggles with dry lips, I was very excited to try PUR's cloud balm. Overall, I really liked this product. It contains shea butter, Vitamin E, and peptides to help with lip hydration. I really liked the applicator for this balm! It has a contour to it that allows for effortless application. It has a light vanilla scent/flavor which I thought was nice too! The balm itself is super lightweight which was nice for a change because I typically use heavier balms. It leaves the lips looking super smooth and shiny! My lips do not feel sticky or greasy after application, which is a huge plus for me! I feel like it has really helped to hydrate my lips, leaving them feeling super smooth and refreshed. The one down that I've experienced is that I do feel like I need to reapply the balm multiple times throughout the day because it wears off easily with eating and drinking. For me it hasn't been that big of a deal because I like the product otherwise, but I think it is an important thing to note. I will definitely continue using it and look forward to trying other products by PUR in the future! one thing everyone should know about me is that I have severely dehydrated lips, no matter the season when I wake up my lips are chapped and crusty. I usually go the old school way as per my dermatologist recommendation to use Vaseline as a lip mask before bed, but since I got to review this product my world has definitely changed! It doesn't irritate my lips because it's a clean formula, I also love the applicator it's so easy to use and distributed the product evenly, not only that but the formula itself is very versatile, I can use it as a gloss throughout the day and as a lip mask overnight and get the deepest hydration you could think of. As a licensed esthetician, I believe that a lip care routine is just as important as a good skincare routine. This lip treatment completes my lip care routine as the last step after a good scrubbing, but it is also a great choice as your everyday lippie!
