Disappointed to say the least

I am a licensed Esthetician who is always looking for new stuff to try for my skin- whether it's skin care products or devices, I'm always excited for new things. I have been a Clarisonic user for almost 7 years, I have upgraded my devices over time and I have not been let down by them. I have also ...tried other brushes from different brands both high end and on the cheaper end and always end up going back to the Clarisonic. I came across this cleansing device and was so ecstatic for all the great features it had. It was something new and more hygienic so this was a plus. I'm actually really sad to say it was a huge disappointment, the first time I tried it I did feel a difference in my skin, it felt clean but it was nothing I didn't feel before- almost like when I replace the brush head on my Clarisonic and get that new brush feeling. I didn't like this device doesn't have a timer, so you don't know for how long you are supposed to hold the device on each side of your face, while the different vibrations were nice, I only liked using #2 which is the faster setting. The big round head also isn't that great for small areas like the nose, it was very hard to angle the device and get in there. I have also noticed that over time my T-Zone has gotten significantly oilier, which from being a skin care professional it can be a sign that you're overdoing the cleaning and thus your skin is producing more oils to compensate for that. It's already a concern of mine that instead of helping my skin, it's making it worse by making it more oily. I will have to say that I did love the rose quartz massager, and the heat is a plus! I really enjoyed using my serums with it and i did feel that it helped penetrate products better into my skin. If your company were to make just a massager by itself, I would purchase without a doubt! Overall, really disappointed with the purchase and I do see myself returning to my Clarisonic. I felt the device just wasn't what I had expected it to be, which is so sad because the device itself is so beautiful and the rose quarts massager is to die for! Unfortunately, I will be returning.
