I picked this up in shade 'into the blur' because I thought it would be a good match for Glossier Like, which I used to use religiously before the reformulation. Color-wise, they are very similar. I picked this up in shade 'into the blur' because I thought it would be a good match for Glossier Like, which I used to use religiously before the reformulation. Color-wise, they are very similar. However, the covergirl lipstick is way more pigmented and very, very creamy. So definitely not a formula match for the glossier gen g if you liked those. I'm able to get the look I want by dabbing it on lightly and rubbing it in with my finger. It's a great my lips but better color. BUT- and this is a big but- this, to me, smells just like the Swiffer wet mops I clean my bathroom with. I am not super sensitive to fragrance, and don't mind a nice, subtle floral. However, this at first felt like I was eating shampoo, and then today I realized that it actually just smells like Swiffer wet mops. So if you're sensitive to fragrances or have anything against Swiffer, this isn't for you. Lastly, this formula is a bit drying, even underapplying it the way I do. That's not super unexpected for a blurring lip product for me, but it is slightly uncomfortable. I plan to use but not repurchase.
If you love a soft matte lip color, get this!!
This smells SO yummy, and I wasn't expecting how pigmented it actually is ( while still being soft and beautiful) it's also light weight and long lasting! If you're looking for an alternative to R.E.M beauty's matte blur butter balm, this one is a perfect affordable dupe!

I loved this product so much that I actually chose to wear it on my wedding day, and it did not disappoint! The finish is absolutely beautiful, it gives that perfect, soft focus blur that looks flawless both in person and in photos. It feels incredibly comfortable and lightweight on the lips, has a lovely subtle sent, and the performance lasted through all the talking, smiling and toasts. If it's perfect enough for a bride, it's perfect for everyday wear!

This matte lipstick it's so smooth and last longing. I've had for a while and I feel like this is my staple color. Affordable and cute packaging, sometimes I even use as a blush.
I mean...holy dry lips, Batman.
If you love it when your lips are dry like the Sahara in June—parched, wrinkled, and begging (pleading) for hydration—you'll love this. Yes, it blurs, but at what cost? I cannot recommend this product for anyone who doesn't already have plump, hydrated, juicy lips...and if you do, this still might make them sad and dehydrated. Don't say I didn't warn you. For those who love this product, enjoy...because you are truly blessed.
