Every day after cleansing, pour a small amount of the Murad toner onto a cotton pad and apply evenly over face, neck and chest. For optimal results, follow with a Murad Step 2 treatment.

According to my app and the ingredients list of my cleanser and this toner it says that thes products shouldn't be used together. This is because the toner has a peptide and the cleanser has direct acid. Are there any cleansers that do work with this toner?

You only want to use one treatment in the morning and one in the evening. I have been using this toner as I have combination skin. It leaves my face feeling tight and clean. Now that I am approaching 40 and live in a more humid environment with harsher winters should I switch to a hydrating toner ans which one? I want to fight aging, reduce lines, but retain moisture. Should I be switching from blue toner or orange or purple in the winter?

If you have concerns regarding environmental damage, such as living in a more humid environment with a lot of sun, the Essential C Toner would be great! I really liked Murad's cleanser so I thought I'd give the toner from the same line a go. Unfortunately it did little to help my acne prone skin and did everything to irritate it. My skin was red and irritated and it stung so bad one time that I had to wash the product off. I wanted to like it, but after that I knew it couldn't go back on my face.
