Great Azelaic Acid Serum

I'm so glad Mario Badescu came out with this product. I've been looking for an Azelaic Acid serum with a lower concentration than the 10% most of them seem to use since that amount tends to irritate my skin. This product seemed to be exactly what I needed and so far it has worked great for my skin...

This product is actually good. For specific purposes. My mom has an acneic kind of rash that can't be healed with spot treatments. The azelaic acid is perfect for this. Clears it right up without burning or irritating her sensitive skin. Doesn't seem to work great for regular pimples and would recommend an actual spot treatment for that instead. The dropper hasn't been an issue for us because we do a thin layer around the chin and mouth and don't need a huge amount to pour out.

Not great

I have textured acne prone skin and bought this at the recommendation of an Ulta employee. It's a good price but I'm not noticing a difference in texture. And some acne doesn't go away. Wouldn't recommend this.

I like the serum itself. It's been great for my sensitive acne prone skin and has been effective in clearing up some spots! However the serum is waaay to thick for the dropper. I was getting absolutely no product in the dropper it was just too thick. Luckily I had an empty bottle of similar size with a pump so I switched out the dropper for the pump and it works much much better.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

wanted to love

I love azelaic acid for my acne and it's hard to find in a serum form, so I was excited to see this come out! Unfortunately it is too thick for the dropped so it's a nightmare to get out, and the product doesn't do much for acne. I did not notice a difference in redness either, so this one is a miss. It didn't break me out or irritate my skin, so it hasn't harmed my skin. But it hasn't helped either.
