I liked the 3 step system in the past so after some time just not being consistent with skin care, I restarted the 3 step system for Combination Oily Skin with the oil free cleanser and moisturizing gel recently and notice feeling really clean right after washing, but then my t zone is oily 2 hours after I wash. Am I not using the right product, or does this get better as your skin adjusts in the first week? Should I add the moisture surge moisturizer temporarily? Help!

I have used Clinique products for a dozen-ish years now, and have no plans to ever change that. They are consistent, and my skin is clear. In the past, I have tried other things from time to time, but have always come back to Clinique because nothing compares.

I have been using Clinique for years and am disappointed in the new Clarifying lotion #3 formula which appears to be a watered down version of the old formula.I'm oily and It doesn't exfoliate as well and you don't feel the tingle. I even stepped up to the #4 and it's slightly better but doesn't do ...

Caused purging
This product may work well for some, but it just wasn't right for my skin. Every time I used the Clinique exfoliator—even just once a week—I would break out really badly, sometimes with two or more new pimples each time. I've spoken with others who've used it, and many said it didn't cause purging or breakouts for them, so it clearly varies from person to person. Unfortunately, for me, it caused more harm than good. If you have acne-prone or sensitive skin, I'd definitely recommend patch-testing before committing.

i'm so glad i've come back to my clinique 3-step skincare routine after about 15-20 years. i have strong memories of fighting my teenage acne with this same exact formula. it helped me fight breakouts then & still does now in my 30s too!
Great product to keep oily skin balanced and acne free
Been using for years. It's great to prevent breakouts when used 2-3 times a week and even helped with drying out acne. Clinique is good product line.
Not meant for my skin
Im happy to see that this profuct works great for others, however it didnt work for me. I tried it for 3 weeks and it mildly broke my skin out across my face and jawline. I had clear skin for a while until I tried this product. I have combination skin and have a healthy lifestyle, so I concluded that it had to be this product causing the ance. Again, this product had worked well for others, so it may work well for you!
Always come back to this toner
Not the cleanest ingredients which is why it lost a star, but i always come back to this product. I've strayed and tried many of toners from many brands and this is the only one that helps my acne and leaves me feeling clean
