I have always taken care of my skin since my teenage years and I have been rewarded with an appearance of at least 10 years younger than my age . I live in a very dry climate and require multiple products for moisturizing. As I have aged, I developed brown spots. Although wrinkles have not been my primary concern, I wanted to begin using retinol products. I typically do not have sensitive skin but I found that I had to discontinue even after reading about ways to avoid irritation. I may try again in a month or so. My point is, I have somewhat sensitive and typically very dry skin. I have had NO problems with this product. I have used the Clinique system for years and find that at times when I omit the clarifying lotion or rush through the steps, I get small bumps on my forehead. This product leaves my skin so smooth. I do feel a slight tingling after application but after a few moments that goes away. I use moisture surge on the driest areas on top of my typical moisturizer to alleviate the sensation. Again, I have used the Clinique regime for decades so I think that some people may want to start a consistent program making sure to incorporate the clarifying lotion. You can't expect one product to change your appearance. You have to be diligent and let your skin acclimate to changes. Then, try products such as this one after reading all the directions. I will admit that this sat on my shelf for a bit until I read and understood how to apply it and when. I may use it in my T-zone 3 times a week but all over 2 times a week during the winter. I also found that using cotton pads vs cotton balls allowed for more even distribution. I recommend this product for those who want to incorporate the next level of skin care into their routine. I think it's going to be a game changer for me.
A new staple in my skin care
I have used Clinique skincare and makeup for 35 years. My skin is pretty sensitive so I was a little worried about trying this. It did not cause any irritation whatsoever. This product really works. It makes my skin so soft, clear and healthy looking. I use 3 times per week and am very happy with results. This will be in my skincare routine forever.

The minute I open the bottle I smelled a strong alcohol smell. I thought I would give it a try anyway and my skin started to burn. I do not understand why Clinique puts so much alcohol in their products. Alcohol dries out your skin so much. Not good for the skin.

This product has been a great addition to my routine! I've suffered from cystic acne in the past and this didn't cure it (going to a Romanian esthetician did that) but it's been keeping my skin super fresh and flowing along with the tea tree oil face wash I use and once a month glycolic peel/facial that I get. It's an inexpensive way to keep your skin looking amazing in-between peels/facials. There seems to be some misunderstanding with some of these reviewers on here- this isn't a full on 'peel' like the thicker glycolic peel I get from my esthetician- I don't know why some people think that's what it is- it's definitively not marketed that way. If that's what you're looking for, I suggest you consult a professional. Like any OTC product, this will not cure your acne, cystic acne, dark spots, or clogged pores, but it is an amazing alternative that keeps your skin looking great in-between treatments. Or if you don't need serious help and you just need a boost to your usual face wash/serum/moisturizer this product is definitely worth the money. I'd suggest trying it out and using it 3X a week. This in conjunction with my facials has worked wonders. I'm 38 with no dark spots, no breaks outs and no wrinkles!

Ignore any negative reviews! I just purchased my second bottle so that is a testament it works! I use this peel every third evening in my skincare routine. It works exactly as promised! Peels away dead skin! I had bumps on my chin and after using this product a few times, I discovered underneath the layers of skin were long, ingrown hairs! So yes, this stuff works!
